The Abbasid Caliphate achieved a Golden Age because it had a strong government and gained weatlth from trade. The Abbasids created many innovations that affected their empire and other parts of the world. The location of the Abassid Caliphate in the Middle East made it a center for trade, which will bring in wealth and ideas that will lead to a successful Golden Age.
