Dear reader,Great that you are considering a board position within AIESEC! We are now re-cruiting for board positions that start in Januari 2018. This booklet contains all necessary information regarding the available job profiles and the application pro-cedure.An AIESEC board year provides you with great opportunities and challenges. During your year as a board member, you will develop yourself personally and professionally; expand your national and international network; develop a global mind-set, and have a lot of fun. And the good thing is: you can combine your stud-ies with a part-time board year!

It is AIESEC’s mission to develop young people into responsible leaders who have the capacity to shape the world around them. Many great leaders of today joined AIESEC when they were young. For example; Kofi Annan, Bill Clinton, and queen Maxima.Our team consists of 31 enthusiastic and ambitious people, who are working to-gether in four teams. Will you be the next one to join the AIESEC team?

What is AIESEC?AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. We are a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by stu-dents and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are inter-ested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or national / social origin.

Since we were founded in 1948, we have engaged and developed over 1,000,000 young people who have been through an AIESEC experience. The impact of our or-ganisation can be seen through our alumni who represent business, NGO and world leaders, including BIll Clinton and Kofi Annan.

The leadership develop-ment model that you see here was developed by AIESEC. It shows the qual-ities that we want every person that engages with AIESEC to develop within themselves. Thus allowing you to be prepared for the challenges of the future.

Professional Development

Throughout your boardyear you will get various trainings and workshops from exter-nal companies and our local and national partners. There are various possibili-ties within AIESEC to learn how to give trainings your-self.

Team Experience

As part of one of the three teams you’ll have a whole lot of good times. You work together on a functional lev-el, you’ll have weekly team dinners and twice a year you’ll go on a team week-end.

and a whole lot of fun! During your year we’ll go on a weekends with the entire LC twice, we’ll also have two na-tional conferences, and you can go abroad to an international AIESEC conference. Next to that; we have the weekly drinks, the possibility to join for lunch every day, national events, and dinner with the entire group!

Local Committee memberPart time positionsAt our local office we work with motivated and ambitious students in four different teams. Each of the teams has a different focus, but we are all working together towards the same goals.On a daily basis, we run our processes, we talk to students, to companies, we write strategy, we talk to the network, we send and receive students to and from all around the world, we organize events and of course, we have a lot of fun. In AIESEC, we work hard and we play hard! As a part time board member, you will spend an average of 15 hours a week on AIESEC from Januari 1st, 2018, both on working in your team or function and on working with AIESEC in general and the other teams.

Outgoing Global Entrepreneur & TalentAs a member of the oGET team you are responsible for the Outgoing Talent program. Together with both your VP and the other oGET team members you select, support, prepare and coach students who wish to go abroad on a professional intern-ship with AIESEC.

Incoming Global TalentAs a member of the IGT team you are responsible for the Incom-ing Exchange program. Together with both your coordinator and the other IGT team members it is your responsibility to create as many quality traineeship opportunities as possible and to give the trainees a leadership experience by coaching them during their time in the Netherlands.

MarketingYour team works on online and offline marketing. The Talent Recruiters oGT are actively on the lookout for ambituous stu-dents, via LinkedIn, their own network & lecture talks. The oGV Marketing Managers work on promoting our voluntary projects through product packaging & promoting on campus. The external releations manager in is contact with the uni-versity, universities of applied science and other student and study associations.

Outgoing Global VolunteerAs a member of the OGV team you are responsible for the Outgoing Volunteer program. Together with both your VP and the other OGV team members you select, support, prepare and coach students who wish to go abroad with AIESEC.

Available positions - Incoming Global Talent

2 x Account ManagerAs an accountmanager you are part of the Incoming Global Talent team. The goal of this team is to get international students to Tilburg to do a professional traineeship in the region. The main responsibility of the account manager is to ensure a good match be-tween trainee and company. You are the one who will select suitable candidates from our database for the company, as well as the one taking care of all the formalities (visa, work permit) for the trainee. 1 x Acquisition ManagerAs an acquisition manager you are part of the Incoming Global Talent team. The goal of this team is to get international students to Tilburg to do a proffessional traineeship in the region.The main responsibility of an acquisition manager is acquiring quality traineeship opportunities at companies in a designated region. 2 x Trainee Manager As a trainee manager you are part of the Incoming Global Talent team. The goal of this team is to get international students to Tilburg to do a proffessional traineeship in the re-gion. Main responsibilities for the Trainee manager are to guide the trainee through their internship from the moment he or she lands in the Netherlands. Arranging housing, bank account, insurance but also organizing trainee activities & dinners where AIESEC Tilburg meets the trainees so we can get to know the trainees. Available positions - Outgoing Global Volunteer

1 x oGT Talent RecruiterAS a talent recruiter, you will be looking for and contacting student that suit our profile. Together with the oGET (Outgoing Global Talent & Entrepreneurship) team, you will make set a desired profile each month. Through your own network, LinkedIn and active mar-keting, you will recruit ambitious students. You will also be working on marketing specific professional internship, by means of developing and implementing a marketing plan.

1 x Marketing Manager oGVAs a marketing manager oGV, you will be actively marketing our voluntary projects through promotion on campus, lecture talks & information sessions. You will be creating new campaigns based on product packaging, developing content and encouraging other local committee members on joining your marketing efforts.

2 x EP managerWhenever people are interested in going abroad for a volun-teering project the EP manager for Outgoing Global Volunteer steps in. You will be their personal coach until they get back on the plane having had an amazing adventure. You will search for projects, match the customer to the best suitable project and prepare them doing a couple of session before they depart. Do you have affinity in customer relations? This entails helping them search for opportunities and helping them in the process of applying. You will be their personal coach untill they get back on the plane having had an amazing adventure. Application ProcedureWithin AIESEC, we put a lot of effort in selecting our applicants and making sure our members are hired into a position that fits their personality, interests and talents. Therefore our application has 3 stages:

1) Application FormIn this stage, we are interested in you, your experience and your motivation. Before November 17th 23:59, make sure you take the following steps: Fill out the form at https://aiesecnl.formstack.com/forms/aiesec-boardfunctions and please make sure to include your resume. On the 18th you will get an email with the time and allocation of the assessment.

2) The AssessmentIn the assessment round we hope to see more of your skills and personality. Together with other applicants, you will work on a case. Count on approximately 60 minutes, the assessments will take place on the 20th & 21st of November.

3) The InterviewInterviews will be held from the 22nd till the 29th of November. We take this time to ask you some questions about yourself, your motivation skills and preferences. The interview will take about half an hour.
