1. To HOG operational events like “BKK” and “Y2B” on social media in the form of “FAN PAGES” n “EVENTS” and linking such events on our own personal/individual social networks so as to increase the Awareness of such projects in the society and in a way of promoting the AIESEC activities.

2. Promotion of the events in the form of QUALITY rather than quantity and content. Amplify the work in form of moreamount of pictures, videos and presentations among youth rather than written matter so as to simplify the understanding of the activities.Hence by doing so they can understand the culture of AIESEC and get motivated in a way to join AIESEC.

THIS WILL GIVE A CLEAN AIESEC IMAGE

3. Advertise online on few famous social networking sites by using catchy lines, hyperlinks, partners views, etc the mattershould be lucrative, precise and clear to make the person understand the visionand values of AIESEC.

4. The Participation of existing members in promotion of AIESEC is a key role.Major people are on Facebook, Twitter, etc but some unique members/trainees have a stronger hold on tumblr, AOL, IN.com etc .They can promote it in those networks and through it can get a way to promote a very new market of students. Later we can introduce them to the regular/popular site.

• The above will require capital for advertisement and so Only few social sites are to be selected which can give better market of youth and can prove to be profitable to AIESEC as a part of the return on investment.

5. The promotion of AIESEC on different social sites has to be made in aDifferent Way as the sites don’t share the same criteria for advertisement or networking socially.Example – Facebook has many applications.Twitter is still growing and is used to just update.LinkedIn – More professionally way to promote.

6. A special Cell should be formed under the communications department who is solely responsible for these promoting and teaching other members to promote their activities, which can in turn help AIESEC reaching more stakeholders in a qualitative way and help in quality promotion.

7. We can also have a special wall post/Status “Celebration Day”In which the entire AIESEC India will keep a comman tagline decided by MC VP COMMUNICATION (Apoorv Bamba),this-Will create an impact and send a common message to everyone all over the world.-Will celebrate it on their wall post and so their network will know about AIESEC and the celebration of our projects and achievements.

8. A single Blog of AIESEC India can be created, in which -All AIESECers in India can share their experiences, achievements, fun and link it in their networks so that AIESEC can be promoted in a way that when people see blogs on the profiles of AIESECers they would understand the magnitude of our work and move to AIESEC way.

9. We also plan to start a Game about AIESEC on social networking sites, just like “poker n farmville” on Facebook. We can start it on few famous networking sites the game would be a fantasy gaming in which the stats, achievements, projects, members, etc would be on a virtual front. And this will help people understand the values, process of exchange and leadership of AIESEC.

-This can be a huge hit in the ongoing generation and will be a motivation to join AIESEC.• The game would have statics of the LC’s and also various stages

of AIESEC which an AIESECer undergoes in real life.- This will help in easier understanding of AIESEC, its functions and activities.• The entire game would have a real feeling but would be a fantasy

full of fun although the stats would be real and this will help people understand AIESEC in a deeper and easier way.

- This will help in increasing the competition and have transparency of results as well.

10. Our New Idea• We basically think of introducing a new social networking

site called “heyaiesec.com” on similar lines with facebook, orkut, etc.

• The main purpose of making this site would be to give information about AIESEC to everyone, make the site cooler and fun so that non AIESEC members would also like to join it. Although Non-AIESEC members cannot participate in the activities of the site, they can view the entire site. Hence keeping in mind the fun and competitive aspect of the site, they would like to join the site and for that they would have to get recruited in AIESEC.

• Hence keeping it fun, it would also be at competitive level.

Advantages and Uses of the Site

• By being connected like this, we as individual Local Chapters would keep things uploaded about our activities and events as well as the newer inclusions that follow.

• This would keep us all be at par and generate a kind of positive competition that would help us get better and better each time.

• In this way we will promote this site on other social networking sites, in turn inviting and attracting a larger youth towards the organization and the site “heyaiesec.com”.
