Barquisimeto is a city located in Lara state, Venezuela, in the always colorful Latinamerica.

It´s the 4th largest city of the country based on population after Caracas (the capital), Maracaibo and Valencia. Barquisimeto is the urban, industrial and commercial epicentre of the region.

Musical capital of VenezuelaBarquisimeto is considered musical capital of the country because several of the most inuent and famous musicians of the country were born here. We take pride in being the hometown of artists Pablo Canela (violin/cuatro) and Gustavo Dudamel (world famous orchestra director).

We’re also known as the city of twilights because of the beautiful dawns that we get to appreciate every day, you’ll fall in love with them. An excellent starting point for unforgettable adventures.

Barquisimeto has some interesting colonial architecture that date back to the 1800s alongside with smoderns builldings and structures. .

We have a fresh weather most of the time (we are in South America, after all). Temperatures go from 18ºC - 32ºC.
