Analyses of a Job Advertisement, According to AIDA

We have chosen this Advertisement of job by IBEX GLOBAL (A TRG Company)

AIDA stands for Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action

Attention

In the above, advertisement they didn’t get the proper attention of viewer. Without attention,

they (IBEX) can hardly persuade the competent person for the job. We can get attention in

many ways--a good way is to surprise them.

It’s better to grab the attention of the viewer, that will attract them towards you rather than

which scares them (as this may push them away) as normally the concept and reviews for the

call center jobs are not very positive.

Good Advertisers addresses the positive picture of the job to the viewers and it should begin

with:

Interest

Once we have their attention, sustain that attention by getting the other person interested. But

in the advertisement they haven’t created the interest for the viewer, they haven’t mentioned

any interesting thing like:

TRG is the Pakistan largest company in the industry of call center.

We use it to drive engagement with Future and existing IBEX employee

Desire

The third stage is desire at this point you want the information (interest) viewer have about

your company to create a desire to be your employee. In this advertisement, the desire is not

created in a way it should be. Normally, call center job is considered as one of the toughest job

but it creates many opportunities as well.

In advertisement, the allowances that should be offered by the company should be mentioned

but not in details. If the organization, mentioned the allowances in the advertisement of the job

it will meet the viewer’s desire. As further, allowances will be:

Medical insurance

Transport

Training and development

Career progression

Permanent employee status

Over time

Then the viewer can recognize that they need this job and they have interacted and personally

to make an emotional connection with your organization.

Action

It is the magic stage, where an action should be taken on the desires and made the employee

agreed to your proposal.

In the above, advertisement the organization well define their action by making it as simple as

possible like, how to contact the company and where the CV should be submitted or how to

apply for this job.
