MINIMAL RUNNINGThere has been a growing trend toward minimal support running shoes. These shoes have less material between the foot and the running surface which encourages an altered foot strike that is more sensitive to impact. This can stimulate a new type of foot strike for a renewed running experience. The Hayward is just such a shoe and will be a good option for those that are interested in incorporating this type of running into their training.

High density EVA plugs are supported with external struts on both the medial and lateral sides of the heel. This enables under foot comfort much like an athletic shoe, but with the heel stability of the most rugged hikers.
