Global Recall Recovery Rework (G3R) of Ringmaster Ring MainUnits in Gulf Area, (EUR1.2 billion project).

I was responsible for all potential quality issues involving Global RecallRecovery Rework (G3R). Managing the G3R process, evaluating thesafety risks, developing, validating and implementing action plans.

The Project calls for SF6 Gas Reduction & Retrofit Kits Installation ofRingmaster SF6 Ring Main Units supplied and installed in Gulf Area andreplacement of ring main units that has lost gas due to a prematurefracture of the safety membrane due to hot climatic conditions.

Assigned and acted as project manager for the retrofit and upgrade ofring main units sold and installed in Gulf Area.

Managed a group of subcontractors to carry out the works in UAE,Qatar, Oman& Kuwait.

Coordinated with electrical authorities and end users for the plannedshutdown schedules to execute the modification and (or) replacement ofthe units.

Reduced the SF6 gas fill pressure from 0.8barg (at 20C) to 0.55barg (at20C) of Ringmaster RN2c (and RE2c, RE6c and RN6c) ring main unitsthat were at either the customer stores or premises or installed on site.

Installed outdoor and indoor venting kits for internal arc proof protection.

Construction Works for Jebel Dhanna Tank Farm Facilities Upgrade,(USD60 Million project). Client: Abu Dhabi Company For Onshore OilOperations (ADCO)

The Project calls for supply and installation of new pipelines and thereplacement of existing line pipe, installation of valves and fire fighting

systems, instrumentation, electrical, telecommunication and civil works. The electrical scope of work includes cathodic protection, lightning

protection, cables and cable trenching, power supply arrangement, controlroom modification, CCTV system, earthing, lighting etc.

My role within the project was the implementation of related QA/QCactivities for the works as detailed in relevant Inspection and Testing Plans(ITPs).

Ensure that the activities on site are done according to the projectspecifications in compliance with approved method statement.

Inspect and satisfy myself with the completed work before requestingADCO approval or inspection.

Receive the request for inspections from Site Engineer / Foreman for

necessary inspection of completed work with ADCO and release it forfurther activity.

Regularly conduct site inspections and monitor the activities for theirconformance with applicable specifications and drawings.

Maintain quality records of inspections certified by ADCO for any futurereference.

Follow up Engineering, materials delivery/fabrication and subcontractors'progress. Prepare coordination meetings with Clients and Subcontractors.Prepare progress reports.

Carry out the same scope of work for The Scarab and Saffron gas fields,the first deepwater development to be undertaken in the EasternMediterranean.

The installation of the power station main switchgear, which included thecontrol panels of two different types of generators, the distribution panels,MCC and the accessory panels in a pressurized shelter.

The power cabling, including cable termination and cable trayinstallation.

The interconnection cabling inside the pressurized shelter.

New electrical network at ZEITCO (ex- Ocean Energy):

Followed up the fabrication of the substation in our workshops. Installedthe panels and the room electrical equipment.

Headed a team of one electrical technician and 6 others and installed the

substation on the offshore platform. Installed the cable trays allover the platform and the MCT on the

substation room.

Lay and terminate cables. Carried out tests and handover.

Overhead transmission lines at Qarun Petroleum Company (QPC-Lagoon area). Headed a similar team as above to execute thefollowing:

Determine the overhead line route.

Erect the pole.

Install the overhead line.

Install the step down transformers and the electrical accessories,

including the termination of cables connecting to the pumps on theproduction wells.

Well A-16 ESP Surface Facilities Hookup at ZEITCO (ex- OceanEnergy):

Headed a team of electrical technicians, welders, riggers, grinders andothers and carried out the construction activities for the hookup andinstallation of well A-16 electrical submersible pump Reda (ESP) surfacefacilities under supervision of Schlumberger.

Completed all construction activities in a safe and professional mannerduring the planned schedule without any production interruption and up tothe full satisfaction of ZEITCO.
