Carrier launched factory energy reduction goals in 1988, and expanded to broader global environmental, health and safety metrics in 1997. In 2003, Carrier, as a business unit of United Technologies Corp., was the first manufacturer of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems to join the U.S. EPA Climate Leaders program by declaring and reporting climate change goals. From 2000 to 2009, Carrier reduced its air emissions by 76% and water usage by 52% on an absolute basis. Since 2006, the company lowered its greenhouse gas emissions by 33%.

Carrier air-conditioning units can provide heating and cooling in a wide range from -15 to +46 °C without sacrificing efficiency.

They use ultra-quiet inverter compressors, equipped with 9 slots and 6 poles, operating at variable speeds and achieving precise temperature control, greater energy savings up to 70% and powerful dehumidification.

The compressor speed modulates automatically, much like a car on cruise control, so the system isn’t constantly running at maximum capacity and only draws energy when it's needed.

The indoor and outdoor fans are also equipped with DC motors, further improving energy efficiency and money savings!

Carrier’s 3D DC Inverter technology significantly increases energy efficiency and performance for a wide operation range. The unit is controlled electronically by a microprocessor that senses indoor and outdoor temperature to achieve maximum comfort and energy savings even in extreme ambient conditions. Less noise, precise temperature control

For greater efficiency and comfort, both the outdoor and indoor fans are controlled electronically to provide the required air-flow while constantly maintaining the desired temperature.

The outdoor fan, controlled by a microprocessor, can operate in five different speeds. This enables the unit to reach the set-temperature quickly and minimize energy consumption and noise at a lower speed while maintaining the same temperature.

The indoor fan has twelve different speeds that ensure accurate temperature control, comfortable air-flow and silent operation.

A MOBILE APP TO CONTROL YOUR AIR-CONDITIONER ANYWHERE YOU ARE!

Carrier units can be controlled remotely via Wi-Fi with an easy to use mobile app!

Wi-Fi control allows you to turn your unit on and off, select temperature or schedule operation, so that you can enjoy a comfortable environment from the moment you arrive in your premises!

You can take care of your beloved ones at home during your absence, by creating a comfortable environment for them through your mobile device. When you are away for long periods.

Ideal for hotels and residents with many air-conditioning units!

With the application you can control all your air-conditioning units independently. The app can sync with all your units and you can name them as you prefer, so that you know which room you control each time.

The app is available both for Android and iOS mobile devices.

How to use the Wi-Fi kit:

1. Plug in the Wi-Fi stick (optional) to the USB port located under the front panel of the unit.

2. Download “Carrier air conditioner” app from Google Play store or App Store.

3. Click “Create Account” within the application, enter an email and a password.

4. You will receive an e-mail, click the link to activate your registration.

5. Turn on your air-conditioning unit and press “LED” button 7 times. The unit panel will display “AP” and flash.

6. Open the application on your device and follow the on-screen instructions to add the air-conditioner to your account.

Five Action Filter:

The Carrier air-conditioning units with Five Action Filter provide better air quality by combining the positive effects of five different filters. The air first goes through the pre-filter that will capture large particles, dust & pet hair. The ANION filter releases negative ions that revitalize the air. The Vitamin C filter has beneficial effects on your skins strength and elasticity. The HEPA and Cold Catalyst filters absorb smaller particles and pollen and have a deodorizing effect, offering a refreshing indoor environment.

Cold Catalyst Filter:

This filter has a deodorizing effect and helps removing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odors. The cold catalyst filter does not lose its effectiveness during time and you can clean it easily with running water.

Vitamin C Filter:

Vitamin C, with its antioxidant effect, is beneficial for skin health due to its significant role in collagen synthesis which is responsible for skin strength and elasticity. The Vitamin C filter provides several benefits, it improves skin hydration and skin color-tone and it protects the skin from photo-damage and wrinkling.

Pre-Filter:

The pre-filter withholds the largest dust particles suspending in the air, removing them from the air flow before they enter the air-conditioning unit. It covers the air intake and thus helps keeping the unit and the coil clean from dirt and debris, providing better air quality. The pre-filter can be removed and cleaned with soap-water without losing its effectiveness.

Sleep Mode:This mode saves energy and improves night time comfort. The set temperature

will increase by 1°C per hour in cooling mode or decrease by 1°C per hour in heating mode, for the first 2 hours of operation. Thereafter the unit will retain the new temperature for 5 hours after which it will switch off automatically!

Intelligent ON-OFF Technology:Intelligent on-off technology enables the unit to automatically enter energy

-saving mode when on standby mode.

Cold Catalyst Filter:This filter has a deodorizing effect and helps removing volatile organic com-

dition automatically starts heating mode when it detects temperature below 8°C, to prevent the room from freezing when it is unoccupied for a long period in severe cold weather.

Follow Me Mode:A temperature sensor built in the remote controller will sense its surrounding tem-

perature. The unit can adjust room temperature more accurately to the area you place the remote controller, to give you greater comfort.

Self-Cleaning:After the air-condition is switched off, the indoor unit will continue operating in

dry mode for a few minutes, to clean and dry out the indoor evaporator and prevent the formation of mold.

Remote Control Bright Screen:The remote control has a backlit LCD display for easier reading.

Timer:You can program the unit to operate during specific hours, in the desired mode

and temperature settings.

Memorize:The unit memorizes the last desired mode, temperature and position of the

unit according to European and international standards.

Self-Diagnosis & Auto-Protection:The unit will detect abnormal operation or malfunctions and will shut down au-

tomatically to prevent any further issues. At the same time, it will indicate an error code for faster service.

Electrical Voltage Protection:The unit is designed to operate when the voltage is less than or greater of 230

Volts. Specifically, the air conditioner can be op-erated at a voltage of 168 to 264V, thus providing protection against fluctuations in the electricity voltage in these limits.

Low Ambient:With the build-in low ambient kit and the special designed PCB, the outdoor fan

speed can adjust automatically according to con-densation temperature. The air conditioner can run cooling operation even when the outdoor ambient temperature is down to -15°C.
