A. Emerging Good Practices

1. Sustained partnership with DepEd XII and CSO partner for conduct of AHD advocacy activities yielded positive results- series of virtual

orientations on AHD and CSE for Teachers (3 batches), Orientations on Guidelines for the Establishment of Teen Centers (2 batches) 2. Online AHD Film Dissemination initiative reached a total of 64,341 adolescents (through post engagements). 206 teens were able to

answer the feedback form which contains their insights about the winning AHD films boosted.

B. Facilitating Factors 1. Networking and collaboration with key line agencies and CSO partners; 2. Provision of technical assistance and constant coordination and monitoring with partner local population structures (P/CPOs). 3. Maximize online platforms (Facebook, Youtube and zoom applications) to reach program beneficiaries/target audience since face-to-face

interactions are discouraged.

C. Hindering Factors 1. Aside from re-direction of funds for COVID-19, some LGUs were not able to conduct AHD related activities, as cases of COVID-19 in the

region continues to rise. 2. Adolescents reached by LGU partners through face-to face activities decline (mass gatherings are not allowed, and minors below age 21 are

still advised to stay at home)

D. Issues and Recommendation

Issue/s Recommendations Majority of In-School teens particularly high school students in the region were enrolled through modular mode of learning (around 85-90% as per DepEd Regional office estimates). SLM on AHD Module for Grade 7 and 8 was still not approved by DepEd due to volume of modules being evaluated as well.

Constant coordination with DepEd Regional Office XII will be done to ensure approval of the Self- Learning Modules on AHD. Initial comments to the modules will be considered or incorporated to ensure compliance to the requirements of their office in terms of module development.
