FORECASTING


VA: 1. Transit-to-natal resonances are very important. 2. These are the big resonances: Composite, Same phase, midpoint-to-midpoint It does not matter whether the charts tropical, sidereal, or any other kind of chart (draconic, etc.) these resonances are resonances that are independent of the zodiac. They are resonances between the planets. There are many ways to describe where an object is in the sky. Astrologers frequently describe objects in the sky by saying what the zodiac position is. The tropical zodiac is NOT the stars. The zodiac is a Great Circle. The sky is flattened. You make 12 sections of 30 degrees. The beginning point (Zero Aries) is the Vernal Equinox. The Vernal Equinox is where the Sun is in the sky when spring begins. The Vernal Equinox is where the ecliptic plane (apparent path of the Sun) and the celestial equator intersect.


Our system of astrology is based on abstract geometry. When we say that transiting is Sun is conjunct natal Saturn, what is happening is this: The Sun - Vernal Equinox angular distance on July 10 is the same as the Saturn - Vernal Eqiunox distance when Chad was born.

Transits are viewed in VA as a kind of resonance. The Sun - Vernal Equinox angle = Saturn - Vernal Equinox angle. The most important resonances are between the same planets in the sky and in the natal chart. Sun-Venus in the sky resonates (has the same angular distance ) as Sun-Venus in the birth chart, it is a HUGE Sun-Venus day for you. What the tropical zodiac is. How sacred geometry creates the seasons and creates the zodiac. Tropical zodiac is based on the seasons.

From the point of VA, the BiWheel shows resonances (connections between the charts) using Zero-Aries as the reference point.

There are connections between planets that do NOT depend on where you spin the outer wheel. In other words, they do not depend on selecting tropical zero-aries. THese are very powerful because they are strictly connections between the planets. An example is if the Sun-Moon angle in the sky is the same as at birth, then the natal Sun and Moon are highlighted. Somebody is taking an exam to become a professional.


if Mer and Sat in the sky have the same angular distance at birth, it is a huge Mer-Sat day. There are 2 kinds of same Mer-Sat angle. 1 is same phase The other is out of phase.

person's experiences. We don't know if they are rich or poor, male or female, etc. We also don't have a good idea of whether they experienced difficult and traumatic experiences. We get hints about this but it's not as clear as what a person's talents are.

Monday, May 15, 7th class: Homework: Due next Monday. Forecast for you for June, July, and August. A few paragraphs that summarize important things coming up in those 3 months. And include the time line you are looking at. Transits only using VA concepts. Best format for the images is PNG. PNG vs. JPEG: JPEG is made for photos (cats, themselves, etc.) What is the difference between an astrology chart wheel and a photo? In a chart wheel you have text and lines. When you have text and lines and you save in JPEG you have to save in high quality JPEG.


JPEG has quality levels. PNG does NOT have quality levels because it is always perfect. JPEG is called a LOSSY format. It loses quality. Why use JPEG? JPEG files are very small in size. Interestingly, blurred photos are not usually distinguished from a perfect photo by humans. There are even cases where they look better. Is it really a big deal to make the files smaller? Yes, it is a very big deal.

Interpreting transits: Transiting Saturn in Chad's chart. Question: Sat tr Ura in sky. How does it affect a person if it aspects a planet in the chart? ------------------------------- In some forms of astrology, there are necessary evils an these evils are a necessary part of life. By "evil" I mean things that can never be made pleasant and "positive". The idea that Saturn or square aspects are necessarily not going to be fun. There are burdens in life and there is no way around it.

Venus-Saturn exact around May 10. Remove the less important things and choose the more important things. You are evaluating your situation in life to focus on the more important things.


What is important changes and Saturn helps you re-evaluate what is important NOW. It is not necessarily some deep Freudian or new age cleansing from decades ago that is being cleared up. Sometimes it is and sometimes is is not. ----------------

Forecasting in VA: Last night's office hours:

Interpretation of Moo-Sat-Plu in natal chart. Not able to find when Donald Trump goes off script, but did pick that he would win Republican nomination, etc. To some extent the deprivation and severity is fun. Going out camping, physical training, going off along on a hike, self-reliance and minimalism, fasting is enjoyable. It is difficult to get a right balance where you don't go overboard by being almost masochistic.


If a child is abused by the parents, typically the child still loves the parents. Questions from last week: 1. How does the long-lasting Saturn trine Uranus aspect affect someone that has a planet there?

If we use large orbs, it lasts a very long time. If we use small orbs, it lasts a shorter amount of time. Orb for a trine in natal chart in VA is in a natal chart 1 degree to be strong. (In a harmonic chart the orb is 5 deg 20 min) In forecasting (transits and progressions) we have small orbs, generally not over about a degree. 2. Can we see when an important harmonic chart is activated? ------------------

A lof of people in astrology are literary, spiritual, humanitarian, and not technical.

Consulting: What is a typical goal of a VA consultation: What if the client does not have clear questions: "Quick readings": "Prepared readings": -------------------- Does a VA consultation tend to focus on a description of the client OR focus on helping the client make decisions. --------------------- What David does: help the client make decisions! ---- Life is a creative process. Transiting Saturn has a lot to do with making decisions. These decisions define yourself. They remove all of the other possibilties and strip


you down to a particular "statue" or form, and definition. A person becomes a nurse. We all have more potential than we can express, and there are advantages to not engaging in every potential you have but instead to choose a few of them to focus on. All of the association of Saturn, such as maturity, responsiblity, etc. are all a result of making the decision to remove possibilities so that the most essential thing is emphasized and stands out.

Saturn and Neptune tend to be more difficult in forecasting than they are in the natal chart. This idea that Saturn is so malefic is not true in the natal chart, but Saturn does tend to be more difficult by transit and progression.

------------------- Observation of MANY astrologers and myself is that Saturn and Neptune transits and progressions are often challenging. We looked at the charts of the greatest athletes. Neptune can be involved in the pattern.


------------------------- The meaning of the planet does not change. The meaning is always the same. The way a person experiences it is different. --------------------------

Uranus transiting the 7th house cusp of an American married adult. What can they do positively with this transit? Uranus transiting the 7th house cusp of a married adult in India. -------------------------

Focus on the energy flow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most things that change energy flow are seemingly almost trivial. They don't seem like a big deal, but they actually change energy flow. ------------------ An emphasis on Moon-Venus for several Moon. Get a pet.

Love can mean things. In one sense love is not in astrology. Love is a universal power that flows through everything.

One big part of romantic love is the desire to be close to the other person.


Is intelligence in Venus. Venus recognizes what is beautiful. Some great scientists have very strong Venus aspects in their chart. This is because the kind of science is do is about the beauty of things like symmetries that are beautiful.
