PCAST DECEMBER 2012 REPORT ON AGRICULTURAL PREPAREDNESS AND THE AGRICULTURE RESEARCH

ENTERPRISE

 

PCAST  recommends  that  the  United  States  increase  its  investment  in  agricultural  research  by  a  total  of  $700  million  per  year  focusing  on  addressing  the  emerging  challenges  described  above.  This  must  be  coupled  with  a  corresponding  increase  in  Coopera.ve  Extension  funding.
