Installation

The installation instructions are the same for both the RHEL 5 and RHEL 4.
File name for RHEL 5: ago-2012.10.tar.gz
File name for RHEL 4: ago-rhel4-2012.10.tar.gz
RHEL 5 Installation
Download ago-2012.10.tar.gz
Unpack the package
$ tar -zxf ago-2012.10.tar.gz
This will create a directory AgO.2012.10
Edit file setup.csh in AgO.2012.10 directory to change the values of two variables.
AGO_ROOT and AGO_LICENSE_FILE
AGO_ROOT should point to the path of the AgO.2012.10 directory.
AGO_LICENSE_FILE should point to the path of the license file.
Source this file in a tcsh or csh shell.
Run the script AgO.2012.10/install.csh
This will complete the installation.
Additional steps for Cadence users
Edit .cdsinit file
Add following line in .cdsinit file in your Cadence work space directory where the cds.lib file resides.
load "/path/to/your/installation/AgO.2012.10/src/gui/skill/anxplorer.il"
Here /path/to/your/installation refers to the location of the AgO.2012.10 directory
Important note
Do not rename or move the AgO.2012.10 directory.
Run the install.csh script again, in case AgO.2012.10 is moved or renamed.
GUI
Invoke AnXplorer using following command.
% anxplorer_gui &

Use demo simulator D-Spice.
- Unpack both of these files
- Setup your environment and invoke AnXplorer from the command line %anxplorer_gui &
- Open the project lvds in the AnXplorer GUI
- In the Options page, change the model file name in the corner definition to LVDS/TSMC-018u.txt
- In the Analysis page, change the Spice input file for the "op" analysis to LVDS/op_eval_sp and the
Spice input for the "tran" analysis to LVDS/tran_eval_sp
- Run the tool
