Sunday Brunch (S4 – S5), Channel 4 – Assistant Producer Princess Productions Executive Producer: Mel Smith February 2015 – Present This role involves sourcing, researching, and booking two expert contributors for each weekly live show, with both contributors heading up an 8minute item. Recent features include; WWE wrestlers, theoretical physicist Carlo Rovelli, adventurer Alastair Humphreys, vintage Formula One cars, the London Children’s Ballet, poisonous animals, and more! Other responsibilities include: Writing and editing items scripts and briefs. Often involving complex topics, demonstrations, music, animals, etc. Overseeing all props for the show and directing the art assistant Hosting a weekly items ideas meeting; offering feedback and following up on successful ideas Generating and pitching show ideas, including social media call outs, talking points, guest interview ideas and games Sourcing and clearing footage and stills Proofreading all of the briefs for the show Briefing guests on show day and offering contributor feedback and support during rehearsals and show Mel & Sue (S1), ITV – Researcher Princess Productions Executive Producer: Susanne Rock December 2014 – February 2015 Part of a team responsible for the first series of the show, responsibilities included: Working with our show Producer to generate, write, and organise ideas for games, challenges, and pre and post title sketches for the show Casting contributors and audience members, and generating ideas for audience participation Researching and writing guest biographies Conducting guest research chats Props sourcing National Lottery Draws, BBC One – Researcher Princess Productions Series Producer: Susie Marsh July 2014 – December 2014 I worked as the sole Researcher on The National Lottery (whilst also carrying on Development work at Princess), and was part of the takeover team when the show moved to Princess, my role included: Guest brief writing and research chats Creating extra creative content for the Lottery’s 20 th Anniversary Show and support content for the National Lottery Awards (such as VTs) Obtaining and overseeing social media content for the show Presenter and guest briefing Materials sourcing and clearing; stills, footage, music. Simon  Rimmer  Patak’s  Advertorial  -­‐  Casting  Researcher  Princess  Productions  Executive  Producer:  Tim  Cunningham  January  2014    Was  the  Casting  Researcher  for  5  x  3  minute  advertorials  for  Channel  4  showing  chef  Simon  Rimmer  cooking  with  members  of  the  public  using  Patak’s  curry  paste.  The  brief  was  to  find  a  group  of  varied  contributors  that  for  one  reason  or  another  did  not  have  time  to  cook  curries  from  scratch,  had  good  stories  to  tell,  were  relatable,  and  good  on  camera.
