Based on the proven Fearless-class platform, the FALAJ 3 features a design that reduces radar cross section, infrared, and acoustic signatures for a stealth profile on the seas.

FALAJ 3 boasts high survivability through CBRN, fire zone, and watertight protection, and accords with International Classification Society Naval Rules and U.S. Navy Stability Requirements for ship survivability. The vessel is designed with high redundancy, including 100% redundancy for critical and major systems.

FALAJ 3 is powered by 4 high power engines using 4 propellers to attain speeds excess of 26 Kn. It has 4 generators capable of producing 1.2 Megawatts of power. It is equipped with Integrated Platform Management System to monitor and control all platform systems from one single point. It also boasts of wide array of safety and fire-fighting equipment, and includes a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat

The advanced combat management system, sensors and weapons enable the vessel to undertake warfare in the air, on the surface and sub-surface. The FALAJ 3 carries a plethora of weapons, including missiles, rockets and medium-calibre guns – providing ample resources to defend itself from potential threats originating from any direction. Onboard decoy launchers are available to carry out soft-kill measures. The vessel also is fitted with the most modern digitised integrated communication and navigation suites.
