Samuel Levine is of counsel at Bryce Downey & Lenkov LLC. He covers a broad spectrum in real estate litigation and arbitration, including construction disputes, mechanics liens and bond claims, commercial mortgage foreclosures and other proceedings to enforce creditors’ rights, title disputes and bankruptcy matters. Mr. Levine is an arbitrator of mechanic’s lien cases as part of Cook County’s mechanics liens pilot arbitration program. He has spoken extensively on a variety of topics relating to construction law, mortgage foreclosure law, bankruptcy and other real estate topics. Mr. Levine is also an Austin Fleming award winner for his work as editor of ISBA’s construction newsletter, Building Knowledge, and a former editor of the real estate newsletter, Real Property.

Werner Sabo, FAIA, FALA, is of counsel at Bryce Downey & Lenkov LLC. He is a noted author and lecturer, as well as a licensed architect. He is a member of a number of architectural and bar associations, and founding member of the Society of Illinois Construction Attorneys. His book, Legal Guide to AIA Documents, is currently in its sixth edition. Mr. Sabo has written numerous magazine articles for the design profession and frequently lectures to attorneys, architects and others on construction law issues. He is also a construction arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association.

Jennifer Cromheecke is an associate at Bryce Downey & Lenkov LLC. She handles general litigation and construction law matters. Ms. Cromheecke is a frequent author and contributor to Bryce Downey & Lenkov’s Construction & Commercial blog.

Joseph Eichberger graduated with a B.A. degree in Philosophy from DePaul and obtained an ROTC commission in the United States Army. Thereafter, he was on active duty as a Lieutenant from 1970 through 1972, serving mainly in South Korea. He graduated from Northern Illinois University Law School and pursued civil trial litigation initially as a plaintiff’s subrogation

attorney and then as a defense attorney. Mr. Eichberger has more than 35 years of experience in insurance defense, insurance-related litigation and non-litigation matters. He has experience in negligence, contracts, bailment and warehouseman’s liability. Mr. Eichberger has had more than 50 bench and jury trials. He is licensed to practice in Illinois State Courts and in the federal courts of the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Eichberger is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Committee. He serves as pro bono counsel on the Illinois Commission on Diversity and Human Relations.

Tina Paries is an income member at Bryce Downey & Lenkov LLC. She focuses her practice on all aspects of construction law, representing a wide variety of clients in connection with both public and private projects. She drafts and negotiates construction contracts and joint venture agreements. Ms. Paries also handles disputes related to mechanic’s liens, construction defect claims, acceleration and delay claims, contract claims and insurance coverage issues. She has also authored a number of construction-related publications and is a branding committee member of the Society of Illinois Construction Attorneys.

Thomas Sarikas is an income member at Bryce Downey & Lenkov LLC. He handles litigation and appeals in the areas of construction liability, product liability, premises liability and transportation. Mr. Sarikas represents construction companies, manufacturers, trucking companies and service organizations in catastrophic death and personal injury cases. He is a former engineer and his litigation cases include construction accidents, construction defects, FINRA arbitration, trucking accidents and insurance coverage cases.
