MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS

1. Resolution approving amendment to employment agreement of Superintendent of Schools:

WHEREAS; the Board of Education has employed Peter C. Blake as Superintendent of Schools by

Employment Agreement dated April 15, 2016: and

WHEREAS; the parties have agreed to amend the Employment Agreement with regard to terms and

conditions of employment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED: that the Board of Education hereby authorizes amendment of the Superintendent’s

contract at Section 19 to require the establishment of residency within the School District

by December 31, 2017; and LET IT BE FURTHER,

RESOLVED: that the Board of Education hereby establishes the Superintendent’s Annual base salary

as follows:

July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018: $162,000.00

RESOLVED: that the President of the Board of Education, or the Vice President in his absence, is

authorized and directed to execute the Amendment on behalf of the Board of Education

and to cause such Amendment to be filed with the District Clerk.
