3. Approval of Minutes. The 24 June 2010 meeting minutes were approved with
no modifications.
4. Review Fall 2012 revision cycle schedule. Ms. Collette reviewed the Fall 2012
revision cycle as part of her staff report.
5. Staff Report. Ms. Collette presented to the committee information on the Fall
2012 revision cycle, the Technical Committee meeting process, the Fire
Protection Research Foundation Code Fund Projects, the committee’s Document
Information Pages, and a brief update on the new code development process. It
should be noted that more news and training on the new process will be
forthcoming. It should be noted that all committee documents are now located at
the following pages:

6. Preparation of NFPA 551 ROP. All public proposals were addressed and
committee proposals were generated. See the ROP letter ballot package.
7. Other business. Ms. Collette will assist Committee Member Jack Watts to draft
language to be included in the next edition of the NFPA Committee Officer’s
Guide. This language will relate to the FIR-AAA committee’s role in providing
guidance to other Technical Committees with regards to Risk Assessment.
8. Scheduling of next meeting. The ROC meeting (if necessary) will be held in
March or April of 2012.
9. Adjournment. The meeting was adjourned by Chair Crawford at 3:00 PM on
August 3, 2011.
