Agenda Thursday, March 28, 2013—3:30 p.m.—4:30 p.m. Humanities Room 301 Take attendance Approve Minutes Discuss goals for 2013-1014 school year. What do we want to do: national and regional conferences, special causes, mem- bership numbers, communication week, contests, networking, guest speakers. How much $$ will we need to get there?: Fundraising ideas & goals, money from student senate. Select Standing Committees: All committees require at least a one year commitment, (Part time committee members (one semester), can participate, but let’s limit it to one per committee. Events Commiee – Headed by Blake 1. Plan fundraising events, create plan for members to aend and coordinate for publicity. 2. Generate new fundraising ideas. 3. Coordinate event/ acvity with a student group from another discipline. 4. Write press releases for all special events. 5. Plan community service event. Membership Commiee - Headed by Jennine & Robbie 1. Plan strategy for increasing student membership 2. Collaborate with advising office to aend transfer student and incoming student events. 3. Create material to take to incoming student events. External Relaons Commiee - Headed by Alissa & Alyssa 1. Design and develop content for an alumni newsleer. 2. Create posters for all PRSSA events. 3. Compile alumni database to be used in future years. 4. Network with local agencies and organizaons. Online Communicaon Commiee - Headed by Vanessa 1. Design and develop social media plans 2. Maintain WSC-PRSSA website/facebook/twier/youtube/etc. 3.
