COACHING T he Reside ntial Weekend Course was held at Chester Co llege and was a great success , subseq uently R .F.U . Preliminary Awards were presented to 19 successfu l candidates . Coaches who wish 10 progress fur ther sho uld contact the Coull ty Secretary who will di rect them to suit able co urses. It is essential that coaches receive traini ng leading to a recognised qual ification befo re accepting th e responsibil ity of coachîng players of any age.

YOUTH T his is one of the most important Commiltees in the County and it is essent ia l tha t yo ung men arc directed lowards rugby footba ll with the right attitude to the ga me . The residcntial coaching course is being hcld agai n a l Cheste r College with members taking the Pre liminary and Inl e rmediale Coaching Award courses. T his is a grea l succcss and the Counl y is committed 10 supporti ng il in the future .

CHESHIRE SCHOOLS R.F.U. The decl ine in Schools rugby continues but th e Counly maintai ns ilS own high standards and was second 10 Yo rkshire in th e No rt hern Gro up.
