Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles

Since the beginning of the year 2008Adjouri & Stastny CommunicationsManagement GmbH works for adealership consortium in the Berlinregion on behalf of VolkswagenCommercial Vehicles. Within theframework of the campaign “biodiversity”the agency was employed inter alia to planand realise an evening lecture and socialevent in an exclusive ambience. Theadventurer and photographer PeterGebhard invited the 150 guests to takepart in his journey through Patagoniawhich was supported by impressivephotos and videos. The range of tasks of

Adjouri & Stastny included the search andchoice of the location, the coordination ofcatering and technical service providers aswell as the support of the speakers and theobtaining of official authorisations. Theevent was part of a series ofcommunication measures which theagency realized for the VWNTEAMBERLIN throughout the year.

LBB / KMG Impuls

In January 2012 the department “CapitalMarkets” of Landesbank Berlin decided tocreate a new focus for the employeesthrough the help of a concise missionstatement. Adjouri & Stastny Communi-cation Management GmbH wascontracted for the overall coordination ofan event intended to insert the newapproach among the staff of 380. A centralcreative lead idea and an event conceptwere then developed and implemented.Furthermore Adjouri & Stastny took careof the scouting and selection of thelocation, the creation of a direction andtime schedule as well as of thecoordination of catering, technical andsecurity service providers. Another taskwas the research, acquisition of andcommunication with suitable speakers.Besides two internal speakers an expert forinnovation management and futuredevelopments,

The Embassy of the Republic of South Africa

The agency was commissioned by theEmbassy of the Republic of South Africain Germany to manage the media andcontent of a series of events on theoccasion of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.This comprised the briefing of moversand shakers and the media, round tables,

press relations and other measures designedto provide a continuous stream ofinformation reporting the currentdevelopment status of the huge event in therun-up to the opening of the FIFA WorldCup 2010. A further important element wasthe presentation of projects initiated byGerman partners from the worlds ofpolitics, sports, business and society thatwere able to exploit the World Cup as acatalyst for sustainable development inSouth Africa and other African nations.

On behalf of the DeutscherBehindertensportverband – NationalParalympic Committee Germany, Adjouri& Stastny GmbH arranged aparliamentary evening at the exclusiveClub of German Parliamentarians, the“Deutsche Parlamentarische Gesellschaft”in January 2008. In this context, KarlHermann Haack, President of DBS –NPC, welcomed representatives andopinion leaders from politics, sports,economy and society to the event. Theheadline selected for the event was “Givinga future to sport for people withdisabilities – promoting the juniors”. Theintroductory greetings were followed byshort statements which presented thepoints of view on the topic in general andrelated to the Paralympics Beijing 2008 inparticular. Besides the professional fieldsof sports and politics, health careperspectives were present too.Subsequently, the 100 guests had thechance to discuss the challenges which lieahead of the sports for people withdisabilities and the role it plays in society.

Adjouri & Stastny was responsible forbudgetary planning, the invitationalprocess, production of related printmaterials and organisation of the entireevent. Furthermore the agency arranged forthe presence of sponsors and partners of theCommittee as well as patrons of the eventand for the activation of their marketingrights.

On behalf of Dentsu Kyushu Inc., abranch of the world's largest advertisingagency Dentsu, and the RoboCupFederation, both in Tokyo, the agencyorganised and directed media relations forthe RoboCups 2003 in Padua, Italy and2004 in Lisbon, Portugal. Adjouri &Stastny undertook the conception,planning, and implementation of mediarelations in Germany, Switzerland,Austria, France, Great Britain, Spain andPortugal.

Included was the supervision of mediarelations on site during the RoboCupworld championships.

In 2004 the agency's field of responsibilitywas enhanced by consulting, planning andimplementation of the signage and overallactivation of marketing rights of nationaland international sponsors before andduring the event.

RoboCup Soccer allows an exchange oftechnical information between re-searchers and the combination of aneducational opportunity with a high levelof entertainment. The players areautonomously controlled throughartificial intelligence without human aid.The announced goal is to develop a teamof robots by 2050 that, following the rulesof FIFA, can defeat a human team ofworld champions.

Beijing's Bid for the IAAF World Championships 2015

In close cooperation with the City ofBeijing and the Chinese AthleticsAssociation, Adjouri & Stastnycontributed to the successful bid of theMunicipality of Beijing to host the 15thIAAF World Championships in 2015. Thecommunications campaign containedmeasures such as presence at the majorathletics competitions of summer andautumn 2010, lobbying and the acquisitionof Andreas Thorkildsen, multiple javelinworld champion and Olympic goldmedalist, as ambassador of the bid.

Furthermore, Adjouri & Stastny took on theeditorial, layout and distributional servicesof newsletters ranging from four to sixpages in four different languages. Thenewsletters allowed insights into differentaspects of the bid, the culture and history ofBeijing and China and a continuouscommunication with key playersworldwide. The writing and distribution oftopical press releases to media represen-tatives all over the world was one of theagency’s tasks too. For the decision of theIAAF Council on the 20th November 2010in Monaco, an information booth in adistinctive Chinese style had been set upand operated at the conference hotel.

Samsung Diamond League

In 2010 The International Association ofAthletics Federations (IAAF) launched theDiamond League, replacing the GoldenLeague. The new premier athleticsmeeting series was announced at itslaunch on 21st November 2009 inMonaco in presence of the three fastestmen in the world and countless eliterepresentatives of this quintessentialOlympic sport. Started in May 2010, theseries promises a world-class athleticscalendar covering 14 cities around theglobe. The following cities are the currentmeeting hosts: Doha (Qatar), Shanghai(China), Oslo ( Norway), Rome (Italy),New York and Eugene (USA), Lausanneand Zurich (Switzerland), London andBirmingham (UK), Paris (France),Monaco, Stockholm (Sweden) andBrussels (Belgium).

Due to Petr Stastny’s many years ofexperience in the sports business andparticularly in the world of internationalathletics, the agency has been entrustedwith the task of coordinating and

It also transmitted a summary of the day viasatellite through the EVS of the EuropeanBroadcasting Union EBU to all members inEurope and associated members overseas.Professional media servicing beforehandand on site led to the result that the IPD wasvery well reflected in the German andinternational media.

International Paralympic Day

On behalf of and in close co-operationwith the International ParalympicCommittee (IPC) Adjouri & Stastnyplanned and implemented theInternational Paralympic Days 2007 and2009 (IPD) in front of the BrandenburgerTor on Pariser Platz in Berlin on 23rdAugust 2007 and 11th July 2009.

More than 42.000 visitors and amongthose several prominent figures attendedeach of these informative sports eventsheld under the patronage of the GermanFederal President Horst Köhler. Germanand international Paralympic athletesdemonstrated all day long different sports.

Adjouri & Stastny acquired andsupervised the media partners. ARD/rbb-TV reported live from the IPD in abroadcast lasting almost one hour.

Adjouri & Stastny succeeded in twoagency pitches by presentingcomprehensive incentive programmes onthe occasion of product launches of"Niaspan" in 2004 and "Lodotra" in 2009.

The "Niaspan" programme was composedof thirteen individual events for 300employees of Merck. With reference tothe new product the agency developed anextensive sports-incentive programme forall those attending. This sports-sightseeing programme at uniquelocations in Berlin included sport stars asBirgit Fischer, multiple World Championand Olympic Winner Christian Schenk,Olympic Gold medallist in decathlon TimKröger, participant of the Admiral’s Cup,as well as the Olympic medallist FlorianSchwarthoff.

All Merck staff members took part withgreat enthusiasm. The programmeincluded activities for all tastes:

from fitness "above the roofs" of Berlin,and mountain biking on the Teufelsberg tosailing along the Havel. In addition to thedaytime programme and the entiretransport organisation, Adjouri & Stastnyalso organised and supervised two dinners.

The "Lodotra" programme led the Merckemployees to the peak of the Zugspitze,with nearly 3,000m Germany's highestmountain. The slogan for this eventfittingly was "aiming high together".During the morning, the employees wereinformed about the new product. Afterthat, chaperoned by the German wintersport icons Rosi Mittermaier and ChristianNeureuther, the employers could provethemselves in skiing, skating and climbing.The event concluded with a festive dinnerat the foot of the illuminated Olympic skijump arena.

Blue Evening, a discussion platform forvarious current affairs issues regularly heldin Berlin, is a permanent element of thepolitical communication activities of theBerlin headquarters of O2. With thiscommunication platform, O2 offers aforum for current and future social issuesin which prominent representatives of theworlds of politics, science and businessmeet to discuss and identify potentialsolutions.

In the follow-up, the agency providedpress information with a compilation ofthe core topics to interested media.Furthermore, the agency promotedinterviews and background discussionsbetween executive officers of O2 andrepresentatives of selected media.
