Beloved Graduates,
Richest blessings and congratulations to you on the occasion of your graduation. How well I remember my own Practitioner and Ministerial graduations, the joy that filled my heart knowing that I remained true to the Spirit’s call. Today, all of the times you may have wanted to say, “I can’t go on, I can’t write one more paper, say one more prayer, maybe I really don’t have a calling,” evaporate in fulfillment of your soul’s purpose: absolute dedication to God.
So as we celebrate this day together, I remind us all that a humble attitude of being an authentic servant of the Spirit speaks louder than any title, credential or position. My prayer for each one of you is that you cultivate an ever-deepening love of God, and strengthen your practices of meditation, affirmative prayer, visioning and compassionate service. In other words, today is just the beginning of a life lived in continual growth and development. As you offer your gifts, talents and skills in service to the Spirit, may you be blessed as you contribute to the healing and upliftment of the planet.
Know for certain that I love you and carry you in my heart.
Love and deepest blessings,
Reverend Michael Bernard BeckwithFounder and Spiritual Director
To Our Ministerial and Practitioner Graduates,
Congratulations to all of our graduates! In the Spirit of this year’s theme, I salute your individual Hearts of Love and Souls of Joy that have brought you to this joyous moment! On this day of your graduation, I celebrate your steadfastness in living the principles of Truth. Together we joyously anchor the completion of classes, and our connection to Spirit, as well as the splendor of new-found friends and fellow travelers.
I acknowledge and honor the 2012 class of Practitioner graduates as they move into their next phase of ecclesiastical assignment, answering directly to Spirit.
It is also a privilege to honor our ministerial graduates for their commitment, dedication and devotion to their respective journeys through our ministerial program. Their charge to being the best they could be is not only exemplary, but it foretells the beautiful essence of their unfolding ministries in the Agape Universal Movement!
As we celebrate today, I must acknowledge and thank God for our invaluable Agape University (UTSLA) staff without whom our programs and classes would not be possible! I thank God for our amazing faculty, and all of the marvelous Practitioners who continually step forward as class facilitators.
Let us go forth, from this day of celebration, steeped in the Spirit, devoted to practicing the Presence of God, and resting in the awareness that wherever we are, the face of God is. And so it is!
Eternal blessings, Reverend Cheryl J. Ward, J.D., DeanAgape University of Transformational Studies and Leadership
