At-home Supply List for Mad Science Home Adventures!

This is the list for all the materials you will need to do the at-home experiments. If you see some items repeated, that's because those will be used in more than one class. I bolded the items you will want to have on hand for this upcoming week (items specifically for the first class are in italics as well).

● M&M colorful candies ● Coffee filters (at least 1) ● Plates (1 per coffee filter) ● Cup of warm water ● Coloring supplies in rainbow colors (for example, markers) ● White paper (can be the size of an index card or larger) ● Tall drinking glass or vase filled with water (room -temperature) ● Paper towel or a towel for clean up ● Ice Cube Tray ● Water ● Timer ● Paper ● Pen or pencil ● Cup ● 2 Elastic bands ● 2 Paper clips ● Ice cube ● Plate (to catch the drips) ● Clear plastic lid ● Colored translucent (that means you can see through it but it is not completely

transparent) lids

● Markers (your favorite color) ● Plastic comb

● Wooly carpet or towel ● Salt and pepper ● Shallow dish (or food storage container lid) ● Empty soda can ● Balloon (latex-free if there are allergies) ● Shaving Cream ● Tray ● Paper (Cardstock or index cards work best) ● Washable paint (a few colors) ● Craft stick ● Paper towel or a towel for clean up ● Toothpicks ● Cornstarch ● Water ● Spoon (Tablespoon) ● Bowl ● 3 different colors of crayon ● A volunteer ● Large metal kitchen spoon (a metal coat hanger will also work) ● String (30” or 76 cm) ● Pencil ● Cotton string (about 12” or 30 cm long) ● Paper cup ● Paper clip ● Water in a bowl ● Paper towel ● Ruler with a groove down the middle (or 2 rulers) ● 5 marbles (same size) ● Paper ● Pencil ● OPTIONAL: different sizes of marbles ● Different types of bouncy balls (super bouncy ball, tennis balls, ping pong ball, etc…)
