The AMAs is the ultimate African premiere Afro Pop, Traditional Music, Gospel and Dance Music awards ceremony in Europe. The African Music Awards ceremony is held annually in Europe. The 3rd Annual AMAs endeavours to contribute to the rich legacy of Britain’s multi-cultural environment by encouraging a strong community with a sense of unification, culminating in our music event on Saturday, October 16, 2010. We carefully chose the date in October as it is the Black History Month in the UK. The 3rd Annual AMAs event will be the biggest African party, exploding with the exquisite continent’s rich music and culture.

The African Music Awards (AMAs) is Europe’s premier music brand that totally re-wards African musicians and music makers annually. Not only does it expose the incred-ible richness of African music and culture from the wondrous continent but also provides the platform for organisations to be seen by millions whilst support-ing a worthwhile cause.
Last year’s AMAs ceremony re-ceived fantastic reviews includ-ing the Daily Mirror describing the event as “Fab” and was attended by prestigious celeb-rities such as Michael Essien and Tinchy Stryder.
This year, numerous media houses have tipped the cere-mony to be the biggest African party outside of Africa, explod-ing with the exquisite conti-nent’s rich music and culture.
