Thione Niang is a mentor, political activist, community leader, international motivational speaker and consultant. Named by ComplexMagazine as one of the 10 Young Activists Who Are Changing The World in March 2013, Thione’s personal journey is a testament to thepower of dreaming big. Raised in a humble family of 28 in Senegal, West Africa, Thione arrived in the United States in July 2000 with $20in his pocket, no family, and very limited English. He worked as a busboy and sent money to family back home, while saving to eventuallyearn a college degree. Eager to give back to the country that provided unlimited opportunity, Thione became engaged in politics while incollege in Ohio. A natural leader, Thione served as the Chair of the Cuyahoga County Young Democrats, National Chair of the YoungDemocrats of America College Caucus, and Chair of the International Affairs Committee for the Young Democrats of America. .

In October 2015 he was appointed by President Obama and The Energy Secretary as ambassador at the US Ministry of Energyrepresenting minorities in energy.

Bisila Bokoko is a phenomenal businesswoman internationally acclaimed for successfully taking companies from local to global. For 7years, she held the position of Executive Director of the Spain-US Chamber of commerce in New York. She then launched BBES, herconsulting firm in 2012.

Bokoko’s efforts have won her widespread recognition and led to dynamic involvement in EMPRETEC, a United Nations programme thatsupports up and coming entrepreneurs. Ms. Bokoko fronted the women’s scheme and actively worked to support female entrepreneurs in theirefforts to launch hard hitting businesses.

Deshun Deysel is perhaps best known as the first black female to climb Mount Everest and was part of the team that placed democraticSouth Africa’s new flag on the mountain for the first time.

Over 15 years of climbing, Deshun has also lead groups to Mount Everest Base Camp as well as three groups to Mount Kilimanjaro. Shehas also successfully climbed Mount Meru (Tanzania), Mount Kenya (Kenya), Mount Elbrus (Russia), Mount Kala Pathar (Nepal) andMount Blanc (France).

Deshun has over 25 years’ experience in the areas of teaching (Human Movement Science) and training and personal development. Arecognised international Speaker and facilitator, Deshun has had the privilege of conducting workshops and keynote speakingengagements in fifteen countries across four continents. She is the founder and director of Deshun Deysel & Associates, a business thatfocuses on encouraging and equipping leadership in a context of change and diversity.
