Why?• To know what the influence of aerosols

are on: • Your health• The earth

And to check, validate, the satellite from the NASA

Measurements• You can only measure when there aren’t clouds• Hold still for 30 seconds• Measure throw a open window

What to do aft er and during the measurement?

• Need to write down:• date• time of measurement• type of clouds

• the air-pressure• the colour of the sky

• Remember the highest number

How does it works?

• LED’s are the detectors• Light falls on one of the two LED’s• Electricity goes to an voltmeter• The voltmeter measure the voltage

Why red and green?

• Red light has a bigger wavelength• Green light has a shorter wavelength than red• Both of them are reflected by a different size

of an aerosol
