EROFIT®.V is a medium-size bubbleaeration system. It is characterised

by particularly high oxygen transfer efficiency, long service life and a widecontrol range, whilst maintaining a con-sistently high level of efficiency. Thus,AEROFIT®.V offers decisive advantagesover membrane aeration. AEROFIT®.Vcan be used for surface aeration as wellas in spiral flow, whilst at the same time

being highly resistant to the effects of precipitation and blockages. Thus,AEROFIT®.V is not only suitable for challenging applications in moving bedsystems and MBRs, but also for decalci-fication reactors.This system, developed by HAGER + ELSÄSSER, has been used all over theworld for more than 30 years and withgreat success.

Each process hasbeen developed for specific areas of application, each with theirown typical characteristics and requirements. Especially when applied in MBBRs, aeration with AEROFIT®.V achieves consistently excellent fluidisation of the carriers.

Due to extensive pre-fabrication withthe highest quality of workmanship, installation of the aeration systems isquickly and easily achieved on-site.

Thanks to the sophisticated design ofthe AEROFIT®.V system, the aeration exitslit is self-cleaning to a large extent,thus allowing trouble-free operation.

These excellent self-cleaning propertiesmean that the AEROFIT®.V system has a positive effect on the life cycle costsof the entire plant, since there is no increase in pressure loss even in long-term operation.

AEROFIT®.V works particularly well incombination with plants of theBIOFIT®.H and BIOFIT®.C type for full biological purification of industrialwaste water including COD and carbonreduction. Both innovative process technologies from H+E.
