A great new design for 2016. Once again Recotherm movethe bar higher in terms of efficiency and performance. Thisdevelopment promises greater efficiency still than our previousunits which already lead the UK domestic market.

We have designed a system using a double pass recuperator,that provides both cross flow and counter flow heat exchange.In the tradition of our pioneer engineering pedigree, we havedeveloped this unit to extract even more performance thanusual.

FRESH AIRIf people aren’t comfortable in their swimming poolenvironment it can limit their enjoyment substantially.Chemical odours, stuffiness and condensation can ruina beautifully designed pool by making it an unpleasantplace to be.

There are 2 types of solution to solve this:

Refrigerant based units: which simply recirculate theold air and with it the old smells and contaminants.

Fresh air units: which has always provided the bestatmosphere in the pool hall but is usually perceived asbeing more expensive to operate, not any more. Withthe Aeris Black fresh air unit fitted with moderncontrols, dual heat reclamation units and controlled bya modern custom designed ventilation strategy, over80% efficiency can be reached, making them moreeconomical than refrigerant based dehumidifiers.

SCENT SOLUTIONWe have gone even further than simply fresh air byintroducing fragrance into this system meaning that youcan choose from an amazing array of fragrences: alpineair, apple fresh, bergamot, citrus, cherryblossom,cinnamon, flowerfields, fresh crisp linen,guava cucumber, jasmine,lavender, lemongrass, mint,ocean breeze, orchid,peppermint, rainforest,redwood, rose,sea scent,springtime, summer bliss,twinkle star. vanilla.

POOL WATER HEATING. We have fitted this unit with a heat exchanger to utilizelatent waste heat from the outgoing air and to feed itinto the pool water heating, to further improveefficiency.

REMOTE MONITORING.This unit is fitted with a battery of sensors and a SIMchip, this means we can remotely interrogate the unitwhenever it stops functioning. Failures may be due toexternal factors such as lack of fuel or broken heatingsystems and this can delay the return to full function ifa mis-diagnosis is made. We can quickly eliminatethese items meaning that our visits to site are reducedand we are better informed about problems when wedo attend.

Fully functioning BEMS (BuildingEnergy Management System) meansthat it is always operating at its peakperformance. The Aeris Blackfeatures an improved controller thatgives even greater control andreporting.

Recotherm are the only Trendcontroller OEM in the pool industrywho can devise a ventilation strategy,code it in-house and problem solveon site when required. A vital skillwhen commissioning andmaintaining a unit.

Scrolless EC fans that give greaterefficiency controlled by Real speedcontrollers. We have beendeveloping this technology since1992 and are expert in this field.

Fully modulated heating valves anddampers ensure that the preciseamount of energy is used to maintainthe pool hall conditions. This is vitalto give that ultra high efficiency thisunit is capable of when workingtogether with a well writtenventilation strategy.

Built-in water heater. This highefficiency heat exchanger transferswaste exhaust heat from the outgoing air into the pool water, to helpreturn as much waste energy aspossible.

Fresh air intake for dehumidificationrather than recirculated refrigerantcooled air. This gives a fresher feelto the environment plus the scentsolution to fragrance that air.

LOWER COSTS WHEN USING A POOL COVER

Recotherm systems also incorporate a pool cover setback facility asstandard. When the pool cover is on, Recotherm units allow the temperature

to drop to a pre-determined level whilst continuing to monitor internalconditions. Other units on the market have this facility for temperature

control but only the Recotherm units alter the humidity set point in-line withthe reduced temperature to allow the unit to work more efficiently.

During this period, power consumption is reduced, cutting running costs toan absolute minimum – an increased energy conservation measure that isparticularly useful for domestic pool owners, where the pool is probably

uncovered for only a few hours a week.

REMOTE OPTIONIf required the control panel can be fitted remotely for ease of use away from the actual pool room.
