2016 CONFERENCEin a Global Air Transport System

OBJECTIVES

The conference will focus on proactive ways to enhance aircraft efficiency for an advanced air transport system, whilst maintaining a high level of proficiency of all the players.

During 3 days, experts of all disciplines will address a series of themes during plenary and technical sessions:

Simplifying the global air transport system from a passenger perspective (safety, efficiency, security and comfort),

Reducing the travel time and cost as well as being resilient to unexpected events (weather, aircraft failure, delays),

Optimizing the use of the huge capital invested by all air transport system stakeholders.

Centred on a passenger’s flying experience, it will review ways to enhance the ground transportation system, view the airport as a city from a passenger perspective and as a service provider for the aircraft handling. It will also present the aircraft from a passenger perspective and from an operator and manufacturer point of views.Last, it will consider the Air Traffic Management System while taking into consideration the environmental aspects and needs.

All these aspects will be reviewed in consideration of maintaining competencies of all players, as well as paying a special attention to the Air Transport systems business model.

CONFERENCE

Airbus is a leading

aircraft manufacturer

whose customer focus,

commercial know‑how, technological leadership and manufacturing

efficiency have propelled it to the forefront of the industry.

With revenues of over 29 billion euros in 2010, Airbus today consistently

captures about half of all commercial airliner orders.

The company also continues to broaden its scope and product range by

applying its expertise to the military market. Headquartered in Toulouse,

France, Airbus is owned by EADS.

Airbus has sold over 10,000 aircraft to more than 400 customers/operators

and has delivered over 6,500 aircraft since it first entered service in 1974.

Dedicated to helping airlines enhance the profitability of their fleets, Airbus

also delivers a wide range of customer services in all areas of support,

tailored to the needs of individual operators all over the world.

Sensitive to its position as an industry leader, Airbus strives to be a truly eco-

efficient enterprise. To that end Airbus is the first aeronautics company in

the world to have earned the ISO 14001 environmental certification for all

production sites and products for the entire life cycle.

Airbus seeks to ensure that air transport continues to be an eco-efficient

means of transport, delivering economic value while minimizing its

environmental impact.

Airbus has developed a broad industrial expertise in Aeroelastics to support

Aircraft development from theoretical modelling a real structure tests and

certification, from the concept to continuous airworthiness.

Pratt & Whitney, a United

Technologies Corp.

company, is a world

leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and

auxiliary power units.

Our first aircraft engine transformed the aviation industry. It was the

410-horsepower, air¬cooled Wasp, which delivered unprecedented

performance and reliability for the time. We have been leading change

ever since.

Today, Pratt & Whitney develops game-changing technologies, such as the

PurePower® PW1000G engine, with patented Geared Turbofan™ engine

technology, and the F135 engine for the F-35 Lightning II. The company’s

worldwide large commercial engine maintenance, repair and overhaul

network provides innovative services that add value and delight customers

around the globe.

TLD is a leading industrial group specialized in the design, the

manufacture and the distribution of airport Ground Support

Equipment.

All TLD products are designed and assembled in our 7 factories worldwide:

Montlouis-sur-Loire (France), Saint-Lin (France), Sorigny (France), Sherbrooke

(Canada), Windsor (USA), Shanghai (China) and Wuxi (China).

Local support, total commitment  is the TLD trademark. Our mission is to

provide diligent, efficient and thorough after-sales support to our customers,

wherever they are based.
