This permit is associated with Albemarle's South Plant Solid Waste Vault. A copy of Permit No. 251-S3N-R1 is included within Attachment A, and the following are Albemarle's requests regarding the permit. REQUEST 1: ·; Permit No. 251-S3N-R1 , Number 8 of the General Permit Conditions, states "The permittee shall furnish the Department annual engineering inspection reports in accordance with Section 22.522 of Regulation 22 . This report is due on October 1 of each year and shall cover the preceding period beginning July 1 and ending June 30". Section 22.522 of R&gulation 22 states that for "Annual Engineering Inspection Reports that (a) Annua.l,I41-spection - A professional engineer registered in the State of Arkansas shall inspect each permitted Class 3 facility and prepare a report addressing operational compliance with permit conditions, permit plans and specifications, the operating narrative and all applicable regulations. The Annual Engineering Inspection Report shall address the 12-month period from January through December and shall be submitted to ADEQ by June 30 of the following year". Albemarle requests of ADEQ that condition Number 8 of the General Permit Conditions for Annual Engineering Inspection Reports within Permit No. 251-S3N-R1 be changed to follow Section 22.522 of Regulation 22. aecom.com 1/3
