Bourbon Sour: Bourbon mix with Jim Beam, lemon juice, sugar and bitters. Woo Woo: Stolichnaya vodka and Archers mixed with cran- berry juice garnished with fresh lime. Bloody Mary: Stolichnaya vodka and tomato juice. Alcohol free option available. 8 SO WHAT’S ON THE MENU? Every monday pitchers £5, glasses £2.50 The bar will serve two types of cocktail: the simpler cocktail pitchers, and the more complex ‘classic cocktails’. of liqueurs, deftly added sliced mint and crushed ice into the mixture and flambéd orange peel with a lighter, a skill I’m told is a vital part of a bartender’s repertoire (not really, but it was great fun to watch). The staff seemed optimistic about the introduction of cocktails at the bar. “It’s something different. The first few weeks may be tricky, but I reckon we’ll get the hang of it,” said Egle Falange, one of the bartenders. “We’ll all work together,” he added. Employees at Knights Park Bar received training in cocktail-making last week as part of a plan to revamp the bar.
