PTTEP Technology Focus
SEISMIC IMAGING TECHNOLOGY
WHAT IS SESIMIC IMAGING?
WHY do we need SESIMIC IMAGING?
WHERE is DPC?
How DPC does SEISMIC IMAGING?
WHO is DPC? Achievements of DPC
Seismic imaging is a geophysical technique that generates a subsurface image from seismic waves propagating through the Earth.
Seismic imaging technology enhances subsurface image to reveal prospects of hydrocarbon-bearing reservoirs.
DPC is the seismic data processing center with a group of geophysicist dedicated to provide seismic imaging services and imaging innovations.
DPC room is located on the 27th Floor ENCO A Building with 7 workstations and a total of 2016 cluster nodes, capable of 2D/3D Time/Depth seismic processing.
DPC investigates root causes of subsurface seismic imaging problems and provides solutions by designing the efficient seismic processing sequences /parameters and implementing up-to-date seismic processing algorithms.
DPC has experiences of several seismic imaging of PTTEP projects around the world. The DPC’s seismic imaging results have been used to support exploration and development activities for the past 3 years.

Plant Integrity Improvement
Unmanned MPIO minimises the need for people to be directly exposed to potential hazards.
In-house capability leads to significant cost savings in inspections.
In-service inspection prior to plant shutdown/turn-around leads to effective spare parts orders and stocks.
Regular in-service inspection ensures plant integrity, which in turn, prevents unplanned plant shutdown.
From Idea to Commercialization through PTTEP technology development process using in-house resources
