Bio Medical Application- Echo 550/555

The Project – The Echo 550/555 is an acoustically

driven non-contact fluid transfer system

for fluid volumes in the 5 to 50 nanoliter

range. A sneeze droplet can be 1-5

microns in size

Key Features – Utilizes two XY stages with critical

assembly and test requirements

– Source and destination plate transfer

and dispense

– Functional test and system burn-in

performed during assembly

– Critical stage orthogonality

measurements performed using CMM

inspection capability
