CSIR -4PI, Bangalore desires to engage qualified Candidates for filling

up of Positions of Project Fellows on purely Temporary and on contract basis

under ARiEES Project at CSIR -4PI, Bangalore.

Walk-in-interview is scheduled on Monday, 10th November 2014

from 9:00 a.m onwards at the Committee Room, Committee Complex,

CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Post Box No.1779, HAL Airport

Road (Opposite Manipal Hospital), Kodihalli, Bangalore 17.

CSIR-4PI, Bangalore desires to engage qualified candidates as Project

Fellows on purely Temporary and on contract basis under various projects

at CSIR -4PI (erstwhile C-MMACS), Bangalore.

The minimum educational qualifications, experience, Consolidated Stipend

and age limit prescribed for engagement of Project Fellows are as under:

PROJECT FELLOWS:

Consolidated Stipend Rs.16,000/- per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA)

Age limit: 28 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC & women Candidates as per

GOI/CSIR Orders

POST CODE: PF/SEMP/01 (01 Post) Qualification: First class in

MSc/M.Tech/MSc. (Tech) in Geophysics.

Job Requirement: Seismic data analysis, Seismological field work, Data

retrieval and processing, mapping on GIS

SENIOR PROJECT FELLOWS:

Consolidated Stipend Rs.18,000/- per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA)

Age limit: 32 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC & women Candidates as per

GOI/CSIR Orders

POST CODE SPF/SEMP/01 (01 Post) Qualification: First class in

M.Sc/M.Tech/MSc (Tech) in Geophysics/Physics).

Experience: Two years research experience in setting up broadband

seismological stations, seismic data analysis/interpretation and earthquakehazard assessment.

Job Requirement: Seismic data analysis, Seismological field work, Data

retrieval and processing, mapping on GIS.

POST CODE SPF/SEMP/02 (02 Post) Qualification: First class in

M.Sc(Geophysics/Physics).

Experience : Two Years in GPS Geodesy and Data Analysis.

Job Requirement: GPS Geodesy and Data Analysis.

POST CODE SPF/SEMP/03 (02 Post) Qualification: M.Sc.(Maths, Physics,

Oceanography)

Experience : Two years in Mathematical Modelling & Data Analysis.

Job Requirement: Mathematical Modelling and Analysis of data from

observations and models.

1. General: The above positions are purely Temporary and on Contractbasis. The contract may be terminated at any time by giving one-monthnotice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit forconsideration against any CSIR-4PI position.

2. Reservation: As regards reservation, if all things are equal, SC/ST/OBCcandidates may be given preference over General candidates so as to ensure

their representation. Age limit is relaxable by 5 years in the case of SC/ST &3 years in the case of OBC candidates.

3. Walk-in-Interview: Qualified and interested candidates can present andregister themselves for an interview at the Committee Room, CommitteeComplex, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Post Box No.1779,HAL Airport Road (Opposite Manipal Hospital),Kodihalli, , Bangalore 17 on10th November 2014 at 9:00 Hours. Candidates should bring with them agovt issued Identity Card(PAN/Voter id/DL/Passport/etc.) in original and allthe relevant documents in original and one set photocopy. The registration

shall close strictly at 10:00 Hours.

Depending upon the number of Candidates, a Screening Test may be held

for selecting candidates for the interview.

4. Only Candidates who satisfy the minimum educational qualifications, Job

requirements, experience and age limit etc., may appear for Walk-in-Interview along with duly filled application form (to be downloaded from

website: www.csir4pi.in), along with latest passport size photograph,

Original and attested copies of all certificates in respect of date of birth,

Qualifications, Experience and Community Certificate etc.

5. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing for Written

Test / Walk-in- Interview.

Interim Enquiries will not be attended to.
