Joan Bucchino, MSEd, CLC, Community Wellness Consultant Garden City, NY 11530 [email protected]
I am committed to sharing the lessons of healing I have received as the Mom of Grace, my very special 13- year old daughter who recently passed away due to a rare, untreatable, degenerative genetic disorder called Sanfilippo Syndrome.
Unfortunately a cure for Grace's disease was not possible soon enough, but Grace left us with a very special gift. Inspired by Grace's daily, goal oriented work with a wonderful team of behavioral teachers and therapists in our home, I developed a fun learning tool that empowers young children to take charge of their own health.
"It is easier to teach a child than it is to fix a broken adult."
GRACE PLAY USA PROUDLY PRESENTS OUR ADVISORY BOARD OF EXTRAORDINARY HEALING EDUCATORS. This group of accomplished, inspired experts care deeply about social reform. They study and promote holistic wellness on a grand scale. Our board consists of some of our nation's leading medical research doctors, “Green Schools” National Movement leaders, cutting edge curriculum and school building designers, technology leaders, and social/emotional learning experts Separately we envision solutions for a healthier world. Together with you, and our heart-powered team of young change leaders, we transform those visions into reality.
And we do all it ...with grace.
Join us! We are on a kid powered "whole-health" mission!!
I partner with extraordinary national leaders who specialize in public health, whole-child education, and "Smart" technology. I empower children, and they empower "their" adults.
People, process, technology and play.
Graceplay, USA.
Our patented, experiential learning system is called The "SmartGAME® Method." Simply and naturally, everyone comes together to support children's healthy behaviors. Parents, teachers, and community merchants unite, ultimately enhancing the whole-health of the entire environment! We focus largely on energy savings and other sustainability projects to protect our communities. Everyone WINS!
Together, we are taking the actions necessary so that common childhood diseases such as obesity, diabestes, asthma and depression will be considered rare, and all rare diseases, such as Grace's are a thing of the past.
