From left: Marshall varsity volleyball players Logan Kiessling, Brooke Mason and Audrey Myers in the Class B district final versus Harper Creek on Nov. 6 at Comstock. The Marshall High School varsity volleyball team saw its season end Nov. 6 following a loss to Harper Creek in the district final. Harper Creek won in straight sets 25-14,25-11 and 25-11. "I was disappointed at how our season finished,” said coach John Miller. “We knew coming in that we were going to have to play almost perfect to beatHarper and statistically, it was our worst match of the year. I think the emotion got to us. We were looking for someone to step up and nobody did. We simply lost to amuch better team who wanted it more than we did.” The team’s overall record was 35-12-2.
