The Whitewater Banner ("the Banner") is Whitewater's local community supported source for objective news, events, and photos. The Banner is staffed by volunteers and is updated as often as possible, often daily.

The Whitewater Banner is owned by the Whitewater Community Foundation. Advertising revenue from the Banner is used to support The Whitewater Community Foundation’s mission of “enhancing quality of life in the Whitewater area via educational, cultural, charitable or benevolent expenditures.” To learn more about the Whitewater Community Foundation, go to their website at http://www.whitewatercommunityfoundation.org/

2019 Advertising Offerings - Premium Ad ($200 / month)

Premium Ad - Details

Premium ad space costs $200 per calendar month. Advertisers who commit to the remainder of the 2019 calendar year (March 1, 2019, to December 31, 2019) will be given 1 month free for a total 2019 cost of $1600.

Please note that there is a maximum of 4 premium advertisers. Ads will appear randomly in the premium ad spaces each time a page loads, with equal frequency. Premium ads are placed more prominently on all Banner web pages, directly next to the Banner logo. Additionally, premium ads will appear on the mobile version of the Banner directly above and below the Banner logo. Two premium ads will be visible at any time on the Banner. All premium ads will be displayed with equal frequency.

A premium ad will appear on the WhitewaterBanner.com homepage approximately 585 times per day (215,000+ times per year).

2019 Advertising Offerings - Content Anchor Ad ($75 / month)

Content Anchor Ad - Details

Content Anchor Ad space costs $75 per calendar month. Advertisers who commit to the remainder of the 2019 calendar year (March 1, 2019, to December 31, 2019) will be given 1 month free for a total 2019 cost of $600.

Please note that there is a maximum of 8 content anchor advertisers. Ads will appear randomly in the content anchor ad spaces each time a page loads, with equal frequency. Content Anchor ads are placed in content and before in between significant eye lines on the homepage. Additionally, content anchor ads will appear on the mobile version of the Banner in content and before and between significant eyelines. Many content anchor ads will be visible at any time on the Banner. Additionally, at least 1 content anchor ad will be injected into all post content, with longer posts having 2 in content ads. All content anchor ads will be displayed with equal frequency.

Unfortunately, due to the new design of the Banner, we do not have full traffic statistics for content anchor ads. However, their placement is significant and exists on every page. At a minimum, an advertiser should expect their content anchor ad to appear on the WhitewaterBanner.com homepage approximately 440 times per day (160,000+ times per year) and in content 1 out of every 8 post views. Once we have gathered statistics on post views, we will update the expected frequency accordingly.

Please note that there is a maximum of 12 regular ad spaces. Ads will appear randomly in the regular ad spaces each time a page loads, with equal frequency. Regular ads are placed in the left sidebar of the site on the homepage and in the right sidebar of individual post pages. Regular ads will not appear on the mobile version of the Banner.

A regular ad will appear on the WhitewaterBanner.com homepage approximately 95 times per day (34,000+ times per year).

Sponsorship of the Whitewater Banner costs $100 for the calendar year 2019. The full calendar year price is $120.
