Main Print (A)• Fussy cut six 8 ½” squares. Center each on a scene. Blue (B)• Cut six 1” x WOF strips. Sub-cut into twelve 1” x 9 ½” strips and twelve 1” x 8 ½” strips;• Cut three 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut into twenty-four 4 ½” squares. Using Go Qube Die #8, die-cut forty-eight 2” x 3 ½” rectangles from the 4 ½” squares; • Cut one 5 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut into six 3” x 5 ½” rectangles. Using Go Qube Die #5, die-cut twenty-four small triangles from the 3” x 5 ½” rectangles.
Black & White Check (C)• Cut six 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut into twenty-four 2” x 9 ½” strips.
Black (D)• Cut one 5” x WOF strip. Sub-cut into six 5” squares. Using Go Qube Die #2, die-cut twenty-four 2” squares from the 5” squares;• Cut two 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut into twelve 4 ½” squares. Using Go Qube Die #8, die-cut twenty-four 2” x 3 ½” rectangles from the 4 ½” squares.
Red (E)• Cut one 5 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut into twelve 3” x 5 ½” rectangles. Using Go Qube Die #5, die-cut forty-eight small triangles from the 3” x 5 ½” rectangles;• Cut one 5” x WOF strip. Sub-cut into six 5” squares. Using Go Qube Die #2, die-cut twenty-four 2” squares from the 5” squares;• Cut two 1 ½” x 42 ½” strips;• Cut three 1 ½” x WOF strips. Cream Card Soldiers (H)• Cut two 5 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut into twelve 5 ½” squares. Using Go Qube Die #4 to die-cut forty-eight triangles from the 5 ½” squares;• Cut one 3 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut into six 3 ½” squares. Using Go Qube Die #6, die-cut six 2 5/8” squares from the 3 ½” squares.
Cream Words (I)• Cut six 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips end to end with a diagonal seam. Cut two 2 ½” x 56 ½” strips and two 2 ½” 44 ½”.
Black Characters (J)• Cut six 6 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips end to end with a diagonal seam. Cut four 6 ½” x 54 ½” strips.
Backing (Your Choice)• Cut two 62” x WOF strips. Cut and Sew the fabric together to make one 62” x 74” piece for the backing.
Sew one 1” x 8 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of one 8 ½” Fabric A square. Sew one 1” x 9 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and bottom of the Fabric A square to make one Block One center (Fig. 1). Repeat to make six Block One centers total.

Sew one 2” x 9 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of a Block One center.
Sew one 2” Fabric D square to each end of one 2” x 9 ½” Fabric C strip to make one top border. Repeat to make one bottom border. Sew the borders to the Block One center.
Repeat Steps 1-3 to make six Block One squares total.

Sew one Fabric E small triangle to the right side of one 2” Fabric F square. Sew one Fabric E small triangle to the top of the sewn unit to make one EFE unit (Fig. 3). Repeat to make twenty-four EFE units total.
Sew one Fabric G large triangle to one EFE unit to make one Unit 1 square (Fig. 4). Repeat to make twenty-four Unit 1 squares total.

Sew one 2” x 3 ½” Fabric B strip to each of one 2” x 3 ½” Fabric D strip to make one side border (Fig. 8). Repeat to make twelve side borders total.

Sew together two 2” x 3 ½” Fabric B strips, two 2” Fabric E squares and one 2” x 3 ½” Fabric D strip to make one top/bottom border (Fig. 9). Repeat to make twelve top/bottom borders total.
Sew one side border to each side on one Unit 4 square. Sew one Top/Bottom border to the top and to the bottom of the Unit 4 square to make one Block Two square (Fig. 10). Repeat to make six Block two squares total.

Refer to the quilt layout to sew the six Block One squares and six Block Two squares together to make the quilt top.
Center one 2 ½” x 56” Fabric I strip on one side of the quilt top and pin in place. Start sewing the strip a ¼” from the top edge of the quilt top and stop a ¼” from the bottom edge. DO NOT TRIM THE EXCESS. Repeat with the opposite side.
Repeat Step 14 to sew a 2 ½” x 44” Fabric I strip to the top and bottom of the quilt top, making sure to stop and start ¼” away from each end of the quilt top.
To miter each corner, fold the quilt top on a diagonal wrong side together . This should line up the strips from adjacent sides (Fig. 11).
Starting at the sewn seam (represented by the arrow in Figure 11) draw a 45-degree line out to the edge of the fabric. Sew on the drawn line. Trim the excess fabric leaving a ¼” seam.
Repeat this step with the remaining corners.

Sew one 1 ½” x 52 ½” Fabric E strip to each of the quilt top. Sew one 1 ½” x 42 ½” Fabric E strip to the top and bottom of the quilt top.
Sew one 6 ½” x 54 ½” Fabric J strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew one 6 ½” x 54 ½” Fabric J strip to the top and bottom of the quilt top.
Sew the six 2 ½” x WOF Fabric E strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.
