Issue: Water Quality

Water quality is usually affected by the tourists that travel there. They don’t realise that the products that they use in the water (e.g. soap, dish washing detergent, oil) leave behind chemicals in the water. The water will carry harmful substances that can harm the living organisms in the water or even other people that will drink from that water source. Some people also throw waste into the water knowing the harm that it can make but they still do it. The things done to water that are caused from humans may also make the water lose it’s oxygen level and harm the living things in the water.

Issue: Vegetation

Tourism cause the natural areas to be destroyed. An example like using the twigs on the ground or ripping the branches off a tree can make a big difference for the tree. Many people don’t realise what they do to the environment and the things that are already living in the area. Litter can also make damage to the ecosystems balance and kill animals that eat it. If people stop littering it can improve the ecosystem and the organisms that live there.
