AdvancED System Accreditation
AdvancED School System Accreditation provides a national protocol for systems committed to systemic, systematic and sustainable, continuous improvement. The accreditation process invites school systems to collaborate in reviewing the quality of their institution and their contributions to teaching and learning. The process supports, enhances and stimulates growth and improvement throughout the system.
AdvancED System Accreditation
Letter of Interest - 2013 Readiness Review - 2013 Letter of Commitment – October 22, 2013 Ensure all schools in the system are accredited or candidates
for accreditation – 2013/continuous improvement Host external review – October 4-7, 2015
Complete all required documents
Communicate the external review team’s findings to the community – status (2015)
Act on the external review findings (2015/continuous improvement)
Complete the accreditation progress report (2015/continuous improvement)
AdvancED School System Accreditation Procedures
System and school-based AdvancED committees meet regularly to discuss progress on standards, collect artifacts, and update documents in ASSIST.
Minutes and sign in sheets should be submitted after each meeting and a copy should be kept in the local school documentation.
