IAV has been working in the field of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Active Safetyfor two decades. We have comprehensive expertise in developing warning and interveningsystems. About 250 highly competent engineers develop and define the specifications fornew systems and new functions, the vehicle integration and the test systems during thedevelopment process all the way to SOP level. We work closely with universities and otherpartners.

Developing algorithms for new functions, our experts also configure concept and production-ready systems. We develop all-encompassing ready-to-use control unit software. We aretherefore responsible for both the design and application of algorithms.

Our additional focus is on testing and evaluating different surrounding sensors. The future isall about continuing to enhance the functions of electronic assistants for vehicle and truckapplications while further cutting the cost, energy consumption, size and weight of surroundingsensors. Our solution shows the right way from benchmark tests to approval tests for massproduction based on statistical validation.
