INAUGURAL TAIPEI FORUM:Contemporary Applications of Facial Skeletal Surgery

Dear Colleagues,

With great pleasure, we welcome you to the Inaugural Forum on Contemporary

Applications of Facial Skeletal Surgery in Taipei from Dec �–�, ����.

Facial skeletal surgery has its roots in trauma and craniofacial malformation from

the days of Lefort and Tessier. Roles of the contemporary facial skeletal surgeon

continue to evolve.

This inaugural course is designed to present contemporary facial skeletal surgery

in the treatment of dentofacial deformity, facial esthetics, and sleep-disordered

breathing.

Our faculty are of diverse training backgrounds in maxillofacial surgery, otolar-

yngology, anesthesiology, orthodontics, and plastic surgery. We are united by our

common passion for scholarship and service to our colleagues and patients in

facial skeletal surgery.

Key highlight of the course includes � live surgeries performed by Dr. Adrian M.

Hsieh, followed by panel discussions.

The Inaugural Taipei Forum in ���� will be held at the Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei

and Charm Aesthetic Surgery Center.

Beyond scholarly exchange, we look forward to meeting you and enjoying

Taiwan’s renowned culture and cuisine together, ranging from night markets to

Taipei ��� to the National Palace Museum. In this ideal setting, we look forward

to the international confluence of interdisciplinary talent that will spearhead
