Software Engineer by profession. He earned his

Diploma in Electronic Engineering from

Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) –

Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Computer

Engineering and B. Tech (Hons) (Major:

Software Engineering) from University

Technology PETRONAS.

Throughout his design career he has served in a

few reputable Multinational Corporation

including Celestica and Intel Corporation.

Being in the industry for more than 6 years,

Afdzal Nazri served Celestica – Test Equipment

Facility, Flextronics – IT Group, Silterra –

Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Intel –

Board Design Center Malaysia, MIMOS –

Software Development Center, BCM Electronics

– Test Software Engineering. He founded

Advanced Binary Network as engineering

designed IT company in 2011.

In Information Technology involvement, he has

been the key consultant for various IT projects.

He builds software that now being sold

throughout the whole world using the internet

as the platform.

Nazri Said was appointed to the board of

Advanced Binary Networks Sdn. Bhd. on 7

January 2016. Before join this company he

was Managing Director of Wafergen Sdn.

Bhd. a biotechnology in Kulim Hi-Tech Park.

On 8 April 2004 he was appointed to the

board of Nucleus Electronic Ltd., electronic

company based in Singapore. He was the

Chief Risk Officer of AIC Semiconductor Sdn

Bhd. Prior to re-joining AIC Group in 2001,

Nazri serves as a Senior Vice President of

MAVCAP, a Malaysian venture capital firm.

Nazri obtained a Bachelor Of Mechanical

Engineering from Mara Institute Of

Technology. He commenced his career a

Research Officer in SIRIM and subsequently

was seconded to the Ministry Of Science

and Technology where he was involved in

the early development of Technology Park

Malaysia (TPM). In early 1990, he left TPM

to join Bank Industri Malaysia Berhad as a

Manager in the Technical Services

Department. In early 1995 he left the Bank

to join the AIC Group.

From 1995 to 2001, Nazri held numerous

senior portfolios within the subsidiaries of

AIC Corporation Berhad. Nazri was credited

in the early start up of AIC Semiconductor

at Kulim Hi Tech Park – a high tech wafer

packaging facility.

In September 2001, he was appointed as

the Managing Director of Integral CAD Sdn

Bhd. Nazri was also a non executive director

of Nucleus Electronics Ltd from 1996 to

2001.

1) Face Attendance

Instead of using fingerprint which may be hard to detect because of dirt, oily thumb and hygienic

issue with hardware malfunctions, we create another approach in recording attendance. By using

face recognition, the system can detect faces to record the time attendance. The software being

used worldwide and we are now working with Asian Pacific University, Thailand to automate their

student attendance to the class room using face recognition.

decision. When we do not have the correct data, wrong decision may be made thus lead our

Baram Culture Regatta

A regatta tournament held in Baram, Miri Serawak every 2 years. Baram Regatta has its social and historical significance. It was first held in Claude Town (Marudi) from the 9th to 10th April 1899, marking the great peace making on the 3rd of the regatta. The great peace marked an end to subjugation by the Madang; Kayans (Upper Rejang) and Lirong (Ulu Tinjar) of the Kayan and Kenyah of Ulu Baram.
