Projects 50 percent

Concept Experiences 20 percent

Assessment and Course Grading Criteria

Project Experiences 50 percent

• and 2 projects each quarter

• for each project - designated production crew positions such as (script writer, host-interviewer, director, graphics/prompter, audio, camera, post-production editor)

• assignments and projects will have deadlines (projects submitted late will be eligible for less than full credit)

Concept Experiences 20 percent

• Usually 2 – 4 practice exercises each quarter to build a foundation for larger projects

Topic Assessments 10 percent

• approximately 8 topic assessments during the year (these may be performance based, verbal, or in written form depending upon the given topics)

Participation 20 percent

• participate in class activities, critiques, discussions, and behave appropriately

• engage in and document independent learning experiences throughout the year
