Every 85 minutes, someone in the UK takes their own life, and more than 10 times that attempt to.
1 in 4 people experiences a diagnosable mental health problem in any given year.
Yet only 25% of them receive NHS help.

As many as 1 in 5 teenagers self-harm – over 25,000 hospitalised each year

SANE improves quality of life for anyone affected by mental illness, through three main activities:

The Black Dog Campaign is an innovative anti-stigma initiative. The aims of the campaign are:
Raising awareness of mental illness, by getting the conversation started
Encouraging more people to seek help
