VO This policy provides a $1,000 accidental death benefit for each child in the home. In Florida, each eligible child receives $2,000 in coverage. Eligible children are defined as the primary insured’s children, legally adopted children, and stepchildren; who are less than 21 years of age, unmarried, and either live with the primary insured or are primarily dependent upon the primary insured for support. The insurance on any child covered under this policy will terminate at the earlier date of the termination date of the policy or the child’s 25th birthday.

VO The issue ages for the $3,000 Accidental Death Policy are 18-68. The policy is guaranteed issue, so there is no underwriting, and no health questions for the applicant to answer. The policy is guaranteed renewable with premiums payable to the policy anniversary following the insured’s 70th birthday. This policy can only be billed on an annual mode. It cannot be transferred to any other mode. An Outline of Coverage is required in certain states. Always check to see if a product is available in your state.

VO The application must be completed and signed by the applicant and the Agent. Coverage begins as soon as the application is signed, but the premium is deferred until the end of the first policy year. For all states, where approved, except Florida: The customer pays no premium until the end of the first policy year. Since no bank information is collected with the application, the customer receives an Annual Premium Bill from the Company at the end of the policy year indicating the $10 premium is due. The customer can keep the coverage for the $10 premium. Or, if the customer decides not to pay the premium, the plan terminates and no premium is due. For Florida only: 100 percent of the first year premium is paid by the Agent through a rebate, so the customer pays no premium until the end of the first year of coverage. At the end of the first year of coverage, the customer can keep the coverage for a $4 premium, or discontinue it at no cost to them. If the customer chooses to keep the coverage, they will have to pay the premium at the start of each policy year thereafter.

VO The $3,000 Accidental Death Policy is an introductory offer. You offer it to your prospects because it is something you know they will use, and it provides you access to their home. Approximately 90 percent of your prospects will accept the introductory offer. When you deliver the introductory offer, and are given access to the prospect’s home, you can assess their insurance needs and make your presentation. Ask your Manager for samples of our introductory offers. They are invaluable to your future success.

VO In addition to helping you gain access to a prospect’s home, the $3,000 Accidental Death Policy is one way of obtaining referrals, thereby generating leads for your future sales efforts. It’s as simple as asking, “Who else do you know that could benefit from this introductory offer?” The best time to ask is at the beginning of the sales interview, although you can ask at any time during the meeting. The important thing is that you ASK. Even if you do not make the sale, you'll leave with several referrals to add to your list of prospects.

VO You may offer the ADP to customers each year. Customers can only apply for one policy annually; they cannot be issued a policy at both the annual and mid-year Worksite enrollment. Remember, the ADP is not free. The premium is due at the end of each policy year for all states where approved, except in Florida where the first premium is paid by an Agent rebate. Customers receive a bill for each ADP policy issued.
