In this tutorial youll see how to crea te blue abstract wallpaper for your desktop. Also, thesetechniques in Adobe Photoshop CS3 are suitable as design elements used in webdesign,printing design, etc.

Start working by crea ting a new file (File>New), having 16001200 pxand72 dpi.

Then select theRectangle Tool (U)to draw the background of the picture we want to get.

Choose the next shown parameters for the first made layer by making a mouse click on the processed layer onthe layers palette.Blending Options>Gradient Overlay

There fo llowing things that i couldnt understand:1. Why did you draw the rectangle tool?2. When I created the same color combinations as shown in 4th picture and tried to rotate thecanvas 90 cw it was completely changing from your work outsWhat are your instructions for me in your above problems.

small fires, having the layers parameters the same with the previous one:

Hi John, I know sometimes its really pain in the head if there a re not enough information tostart the project. Its happened ve ry often with me when I m following an instruction of aprojects and half way found out that- some information is missing- so no where to go besidenot doing it anymore.Anyway- just type metal background in the Googles image section and youll find the imageshown above in the first or 2nd pages. I ts seems pretty close and the size mentioned. Goodluck.
