ADMISSION PROCEDURE/RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE SESSION
2020-21
All the students are directed to complete the following four steps regarding
admission in 1st, 2
nd & 3
rd year.
Step 1: Online Enrolment
Step 2: Submission of documents (online)
Step 3: Payment of fee
Step 4: Submission of documents (offline)
Note:- The applicants who have already registered themselves earlier from July 2020 for the admission
for the session 2020-21 will have to complete step 2, step 3 and Step 4 in order to complete their
admission process.
Step 1: Online Enrolment
All the applicant’s interested to get admission in 1st , 2

Step 2: Submission of documents (online)
1. Download the prescribed admission pro-forma (Annexure-1) for the session 2020-21 from the website
(www.gcchowari.com)
2. Fill-in the admission form after taking printout of admission pro-forma.
3. Scan the same form along with copies of documents such as AADHAR, 10th
, 10+2, Himachali Bonafide,
gap certificate, category certificate (SC, ST, IRDP & OBC), character certificate from institute last
attended/gram panchayat in case of any gap and migration certificate (if 10+2 is from board other than
HPBSE Dharamshala etc. required under R&R for admission than make one pdf file of whole
documents and then send it to the concerned screening committee latest by 15th
August 2020 through

4. After screening, the confirmation regarding eligibility of candidate by their respective major subject
teacher, a reply will be sent to applicant’s email whether or not they are eligible for fulfilling rest of the
admission formalities. If found eligible the applicant will have to submit the required admission fee
online according to the fee structure (Table ).
Step 3 : Payment of fee
5. All the eligible applicants have to submit the required fee according to fee structure (Table ). The
admission fee can be credited online in the following account no:-

Step 4: Submission of document (offline)
6. Hard copies of admission pro-forma and other required documents along with fee reference
no./confirmation of payment/fee receipt of online fee submission will further be submitted in the office
of college latest by 20th
August 2020.
7. Applicant must read the following important points while going through admission process:-
I. If an applicant has physically disability more than 40% then he/she will not be charges any fee or
fund subject to the production of the disability certificate issued by a competent authority.
II. Any student if opts one of the following subjects (major or minor) viz. Music, Physical Education,
Geography, he/she will have to pay Rs. 180/- per subject as practical subject fee in addition to
total fee.
III. Candidate seeking admission in 2nd
and 3rd
year will be considered eligible only if he/she is found
ON ROLLS till the second week of March 2020.
IV. Admission to any candidate will only be considered final after the approval of the Principal GC
Chowari and HPU Shimla.
V. The admission of students can be cancelled if he/she is found ineligible at a later stage.
VI. If a girl student having Himachali domicile remains unable to produce HP bonafide certificate at
the time of her admission she will have to submit full tutition fee.
