Introduction

“Teacher competence and teacher performance with the accomplishment of the

Teacher competence-The possession of knowledge and skills

Teacher performance- the use of knowledge and skills in the classroom .

Teacher effectiveness must be defined & can be assessed in terms of

behaviours & learning of students, not the behaviour of teacher." (Medley).

Teacher effectiveness varies from teacher to teacher according to the possession of

knowledge and skills and use of knowledge and skills in the classroom. So being a

part of M.Ed curriculum a compulsory assignment to administer the tool for teacher

Administer the tool of teacher effectiveness and

write a report.

A perfect teacher always begins her class on time and complete her task within it.

The lesson taken by the teacher was good. The presentation of lesson from starts to

end was perfect. It seem to be motivated from starts to end.

The presentation consisted with different and colourful pictures with perfect

examples were shown. A perfect teacher is who makes her students to understand

each and every concept clearly. The teacher presented her lecture with presentation.

Teacher presented the information clearly and in an organized manner. The

presentation prepared by teacher clearly depicted the objectives. She arranged her

lessons based on learner goals and needs of assessment. A healthy environment makes

students to learn in a comfortable way.

Teacher used the assessment to know the outcomes of her teaching. She

ensured through activity in class that students understand or not. Evaluation of topic

was done then and there. Enough time was given to students to reflect or revise the

points taught. To gain attention and stimulate learning in students is biggest job done

by teacher. The teacher design here lecture according to the needs, interest, ability of

students. Communication of teacher in the class was so effective that students paid

their attention. Teacher used languages like English, Hindi and marathi. She used so

that all students can understand. She gave examples related to the situation faced by

us. Students were enthusiastic from teachers examples.

As the teacher is teaching to future students-teacher, she put her ideas and right

beliefs through her teaching. She explored the profession of teaching as social

responsibility and love towards acquiring the knowledge.

A positive attitude of teacher in class makes the whole class vibrant the light.

The lecture of teacher inspires the student to study thoroughly and felt curious to

know more information to gain about the topic. The students were filled a light of

happiness after the teaching. She not only covered the topic and objectives but also

enlightened students to solve the problems in their future life.

Questions were related to students knowledge, application and scientific based.

She skilled fully used her techniques to relate with the topic. Students also asked

question to teachers to clearly their doubts. Co-operation and silence were the key

factor in the class.

Over all we can view that teacher took all the aspects of teaching in class. She

not only completed her topic in time but also fulfill students thirst of knowledge.

Conclusion :-

To develop teacher effectiveness models that will reform the way we evaluate

school/college professionals as well as the critical components of training and

professional growth.
