Update….Adjunct Professional Development Funds were
funded as part of the 2007-2010 Faculty Contact$12,000 is allocated every yearThe contract stated that the Provost would establish
how the funds would be allocatedThe guidelines for requesting funds can be found
on the Provost web pageThe current process requires the adjunct faculty to
work with their Associate DeanMax reimbursement for each adjunct, as
determined by Deans’ Council, is $300Over the last five years, 178 adjunct faculty
members have received funds for a total of $48,329.17

$12,331.18This is a result of not spending the entire
$12,000 in 08/09, 09/10, and 10/11Moving into 2012/13, there will be a balance

$12,000 allocated from the contact
