Adjectives
• An adjective is a word used to describe a noun or pronoun or to give a noun or pronoun a more specific meaning.
• Adjectives answer the following questions:• What kind?• Which one?• How Many?• How Much?
Adjective Articles
• Three adjectives - the, a, and an – are called articles.
• The is the definite article, because it tells about a certain person place or thing.
• A and an are called indefinite articles because they refer to any person, place, or thing.
ADVERBS
• An adverb is a word that modifies the verb, an adjective, or another adverb.
• An adverb modifying a verb answers the questions:
• Where?• When?• In what way?• How?• And to what extent?
